"Rise of the Legion" It is time for Shinobi Generations first ever plot event! This is going to be a site wide event that is open to all to participate in, regardless of rank, skill level or village affiliation. Now while taking part in the plot event is optional, the events that take place will directly affect both the world and the site, so make sure to get involved and help shape our world. This event will be the first in a series of plot based activities that will take place over the next few months, with each chapter leading into the next. The goal is to tell a complex and interactive story while giving the members something bigger to be apart of. Things can continue to go the way they have been, with you making creations, doing missions and interacting with each other, while the over arching plot will always remain ever present in the back ground. This is your moment to be apart of SG history, being apart of what shapes and forms our world. This event will work like any other story, being broken down into chapters, with the events of the first carrying over into the next. Every part of the plot will be guided with staff working behind the scenes to give you a deep and immersive story. This is meant to be a fun exciting opportunity for all members of SG to live out a more defined story line, so we ask that you keep the story in mind while participating. Now lets get on with the story! Chapter One: You Can't Kill an Idea! Over the past couple of weeks mysterious posters have been popping up through out each of the villages. It started small, with a poster here and there through out lesser known parts of the world, however it has begun to catch like wildfire, with every street corner in every major village now playing host to one of these posters. They are simple sheets of paper, all with different images or different slogans, but they all have the same message: Revolution. Normally the rantings and ravings of mad men get tossed aside, however the public has taken to these, and now groups of protesters are beginning to spring up across the villages, wearing symbols of revolt and chanting words of protest. And yet none of them really know what they are protesting against. There is some force at work here, someone behind the scenes who is working very hard to entice distrust among the populace, and they are succeeding. Who ever is behind these actions has yet to show themselves, and yet the effects are already starting to show. Tension is building, people are demanding change, but can change come when a problem has yet to surface? The leaders are beginning to grow unsettled, they are being asked to fix things that are not broken. With the uncertainty of what will happen next rising there has been a call to take action, all active shinobi being put on alert and are being asked to assist in the situation. The kage's and elders of each village have created task for their Shinobi, to patrol the village, investigate the area around these posters and to even remove the propaganda. The longer these adverts remain open to the public, the harder it becomes to control the growing tension. All Shinobi are being assigned to missions to help rid the village of these posters. It is important that as much information as possible can be obtained, if there is any hope of unveiling the mysterious person behind these actions, more information must be gathered. Mission Name | Investigate Propaganda Posters Mission Type | Plot (Open to all Villages) Ranking | C Repeatable? | Yes, Mission must be completed by two man cells, can not be done solo Reward | 500 Ryo and 20 EXP to each participant. Mission NPCs | None Mission Description | Each Shinobi is being tasked with investigating the area around the location of one of the posters. They are to scope the area looking for any clues for who might have placed the poster. They should also remove any poster they may find and quell any unruly civilians in the vicinity. If the shinobi manage to locate a suspicious individual they are to take as much detail as they can, but are not advised to engage in open combat. With the growing tension of the civilians rising a dangerous riot is the last thing the leaders need on their hands. This mission must be completed by two man cells and can not be done solo. Word Count | The mission is considered complete when the area has been properly investigated. The mission is not considered complete until a total of ten post have been made, five from each participant. Requirements | The title must contain a (Plot) tag in the title line. Once completed you may turn in on your character sheets. These missions do not count towards the mission limit and can be done regardless of how many other missions you have going on. Unrest is growing, the villages are losing control of their population, and it is up to you to get to the bottom of this. What sinister plot lies behind these cries for revolution, what unknown force pulls the strings from the shadows. Will peace return to the villages or will this mysterious entity prevail at starting an uprising!

Daichi would listen to the three of them and then let out a soft breath as he proceeded to watch Akane walk around the room in a pace,"So much energy..." He muttered under his breath as he would finish up a couple pieces of bacon and ham before hopping off the desk and letting out a soft grunt,"I am just going to get ready for the mission, I'll look for an update and the plan when I come back." He was still in his morning clothes, there was no way that he was going to go on a mission like this. Jin would be able to make up a good plan, he was sure of it, otherwise Daichi would just go in swinging. It usually bore good results. He would wave to the people in the room as he would walk out and into the hallway, going to get ready.

Hello hello. Been a while, everyone. Glad I made my way back into this general group--I hope things go well, and that this site lives a much longer-lived life than Ingoo. I went by many names, but the main many people knew me by (although that character died fairly fast) was Hayate Aburame. Though I also had the characters Masuno Kukarumo, and Kaito Ourouh. Perhaps most of you know of one of those--or their many other incarnations that I have implanted into many other Naruto RPs across the world. Even though some of you might know me, know that I am probably way different than the guy that you do remember. For one, when I started RPing on my very first RP site, which was Ingoo, I was 12. I am now 20, much more mature, etc. So, I'm looking forward to getting to know the Ingoo people once again, and getting to know the people who are here but were never there as well.

Well I've been here for a couple of days for a little while, I even have an approved character now. So I suppose it's a bit late but I do believe an introduction is in order. I go by Jin. I am familiar with naruto verse and have rped in it a couple of times in the past. I wouldn't consider myself to be a veteran but I think I'm okay as an rper. I love character development and a good story. I don't have a ton of pvp experience but I do have some. I'd like to have some more. I believe I'm a fair rper, I like the 'give and take' concept of battle type rp. I hate metagaming, god modding and even vague manipulation. Besides Rp, I'm a hobbyist gfxer. I wouldn't consider my art to be even close to professional but honestly I like doing it. And I'm told, by my close friends, that I'm pretty good but I think they're just nice and biased lol My character here is a part of the Tataru clan. A clan that me and a couple of friends are a part of. I look forward to rping here, I love the systems. I have to say the mods are amazingly nice people and too fast. I got my character application approved right after I posted it. It didn't even pass a minute. So Thank you Kabel for doing that. I can keep going but at this point, I'm sure you're bored lol Looking forward to rping with everyone on here. Let's write some good stories! ^.^

It seems that Alaude had underestimated the puppet, the white tiger had been much faster than than he had anticipated but that did not matter much Alaude needed to push through his defenses. It would appear that the puppet was about to both defend itself for the clones but also Jin from the group of clones. The puppet had first targeted the group coming directly after it, within that group the true Alaude had blended perfectly with the two clones. Being faced with five Kunai, the two clones would leap in front of the original shielding him from the flurry of kunai as he crouched behind them to ensure his safety. Allowing the clones to disperse after taking the projectile head on Alaude would purposefully collect two the the abandoned Kunai's as a perfect opportunity was rearing to close the distance between him and Jin was presenting itself... The original Alaude watched as the puppet turned its attention to the other group of three by retracting its mechanical steel claws to slash at them. It would appear that clones would take a similar approach to survival as the original, instead this time a single clone would sacrifice by jumping into the slashing attack giving the remaining two time to leap back and avoid the assault. Seeing Jin not wasting anytime to defend himself the original Alaude could see a smoke bomb being thrown at the remaining clones from the group, "Now!" Out of nowhere the original would began sprinting towards the smoke bomb as it exploded, just as Jin he had intended to use the cover of the smoke to concealing his movements yet again but this time he had something else in mind. Upon entering the thick cloud of smoke with the remaining clones, Alaude would toss one of the kunai's he had picked up earlier aside as he passed the remaining one to a clone on the left of him. He would then quick form the Dog, Boar, and Ram seals of the Transformation Technique allowing himself to be transformed into that of a kunai once again to be handled by the clone that was originally on the left of him. At this point the smoke would began clearing enough for the clone on the left to see his opponent once more. Sending the clone on the right to once again rush after the puppet the clone of the left would run out of the remaining smoke cloud on the left side of Jin launching both the real and transformed Alaude directly at center of his chest avoiding any vital areas.. The plan wasn't as full proof as his last but false samurai was hoping that the smoke cloud and the remaining clones was enough to fool the other Tataru. Chakra Remaining: 170/200 Word Count: 460 Total Word Count: 1031 (Ninjutsu Novice Training Completed)

Listening, he found he heard compassion within the woman's voice, something which he found rarer and rarer, though to be honest he had always found it a luxury; growing up as he had and fighting as he had, one finds the simplest of kindnesses both hard to come by and of terrible value. A small smile lit his face, and he maintained it as she spoke of the unwillingness of the civilians of this country in acknowledging how they could take their lives into their own hands. Perhaps this woman could inspire the rabble of the village to think more deeply on the nature of their unhappiness. Or, perhaps, the were doomed, as always, to a life of ineffable woe. With a broad stroke of his arm he gathered up another fistful of these strange posters, different on the surface and yet so basic and simple in their message and intent - or rather, lack-there-of. He frowned a bit at her final comments, pausing in his destruction of the posters to think briefly before speaking to her once again, his voice like grinding slate. "I guess you're right, maybe they are just deeply misguided and lost. I don't..." he paused, himself, on some fundamental level, also misguided and lost. Could he even offer advice on the matter that he so casually shrugged off? "I don't really know what to do about that I guess." Though in truth, he would rather not have to think about what to do. "But I'm glad you aren't miserable anymore. We can't let life get us down. Plus," he chuckled then, punctuating an otherwise darkening conversation with a touch of some blackish humor, "we get paid to punch those fucking cowards. And trust me, that's more fun than not getting paid to punch them." He smiled and as he did his blue eyes seemed to shine, though somewhere deep within them lurked some kind of hidden madness swimming all about. "Do you, uh, know who we're supposed to report any of this to?"

From the album Places of Significance

Byaku Mountain is among the Hiraishin Mountains of the Lightning Territory, being famously known as the tallest mountain in the world. Originally a mountain that no shinobi dared to travel to due to its incomparable weather and furious creatures, after the Lightning claimed all of Hiraishin Mountains, many of their jōnin took on the challenge of climbing the mountain whether to train there, try to survive, or to face the beasts that inhabit it. Unfortunately, the animal inhabitants and fierce weather conditions of the mountain claimed many lives. If it was any other village, Byaku would've most likely been closed off, but being the battle-hardened shinobi that the Lightning consist of, it would've contradicted the very nature and culture of the village to do this. Therefore, Byaku Mountain remained and still remains open to any ninja willing to take on the challenge, and rather than being looked upon as fools by the community for taking on a challenge with a low chance of survival, they are honored and respected for their courageousness. Byaku Mountain's creatures consist of giant S to X-Rank mountain animals that roam along it's paths and slopes. From people that live at the base of Byaku, or have climbed it and returned alive, there have been numerous claims of sightings of Dragons, although never confirmed to be factual, and often times disregarded by other ninjas as hallucinations caused by the effects of the extreme conditions of the mountain.
