  1. OOC

Through the hands of a unforeseen force that defied all levels of logic in this reality, somehow, in some fashion, both of the fighters smacked into each other like trucks, and somehow, in someway, this was enough to send the both of them flying back five meters, because the universe was basically sending a giant middle finger to the laws of physics right now. Was it because destiny itself was rearing its ugly head and showing its distaste for Ryouji? Well, he'd definitely have to go and kick destiny's ass right after this tournament...the forces of this universe were against the boy for some god forsaken reason(well, not that he believed in a god in the first place), which was definitely going to mess with his luck for his future seemed as if they were all unfortunate enough to live in some sort of Lovecraftesque horror story. As soon as he hit the ground from the force of him crashing into the ground, he would attempt to get up using as much speed as possible(without hurting himself severely like a dumbass, of course.), standing up on his legs. After all, his mama raised a soldier, not a bitch, and if he was going to lay his ass back down because of aching bones(ouch), and a decent headache(which, no lie, gave him some blurry vision, but, again, he was a ninja so he had to "boss up" and get through the pain, yo), well he was no better than the ants he used to burn alive with his magnifying glass! Ryouji expected to get back up first, as from what he could make out from his blurred vision, Ravana and him both took similar damage, and from what he remembered from the scuffle that took place earlier, he was quite a bit faster. He had yet another one of his crazy plans, and hopefully, the God of all anime protagonists would give him his blessings and a nice pair of plot armor to assist him. Assuming he would manage to get up successfully, in spite of the pain, Ryouji knew that if he had fucked up vision, Ravana would too. If all Ryouji had were precise attacks that required the utmost of focus to destroy his opponent, he'd be screwed. But, obviously he didn't have any jutsu like that! He was a monster in Taijutsu, after all, and that type of fighting style really didn't need those types of moves, Ryouji's line of thinking evidenced from the possession of such a skill like the Wolf Fang Fist. Even with his less than stellar vision at the moment, it didn't erase the fact that he knew this jutsu like his left hand knew his prick. Ryouji had the stamina left for exactly three Wolf Fang Fists, but, expected he only needed one or two to end this fight. While it didn't seem like Ryouji could assume so much, that crash they had into each other actually told him lots of information he needed. For instance, if Ryouji were to compare his reflexes and speed to his, then he'd beat him by miles and miles, and miles..okay, maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but essentially, Ryouji knew that he was quite superior to his opponent going by speed and reflex. For instance, Ryouji managed to cover quite the distance before Ravana even threw up a stance, and during the clash the two children had, Ryouji took notice that he was coming in much faster than Ravana could move. So, these two conclusions put together gave Ryouji one ultimate answer(of doom): Blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, AND MORE BLITZ! THE BLITZING WOULDN'T STOP UNTIL RYOUJI WASN'T BREATHING, BABY! He was the Flame Village's Golden Whirlwind, ready to dunk all when it came to flashy, overpowered Taijutsu attacks, and some little punk wasn't going to stop him. As soon as Ryouji was standing up and ready to run at Ravana and beat him up, he totally would do that. So what if every step he took, a sharp, acute pain went through his legs? With speed like Ryouji's, it wasn't much of a long distance run, to be honest. Plus, that shouldn't have been able to stop him, anyways! What type of ninja cried from a little pain like that? Anyways, as he took his first running step forward, his fist was already cocked backwards in preparation for his Wolf Fang Fist, and end this nuisance of a fight as quickly as he could. Honestly, as silly as this sounded, Ryouji was hoping that this tournament was going to give some good food after this match. He was sort of hungry. Not even the mortal danger he could be facing in this match was enough to negate that vicious appetite of his! At the same time he took his first running step, Ryouji felt that some taunting was in order, and began to speak, even despite his headache. Ryouji was a determinator, that he was, and again, pain like this effected him of course, just like any other human being, but, he was a ninja, and of course sucked it up. The words that Ryouji spoke were the following: "YOU'RE TOO SLOW!" It was the perfect three words that come ever come out of Ryouji's mouth during this battle, encapsulating the entire theme of this match. Sure, he stole the quote from some popular fictional character, but that didn't take away the significance of it. Speed was something you either had or you didn't, and, well, if you were one of the unfortunate many that were cursed with the death sentence of horrific speed, your ninja career probably isn't going to amount to anything. Or at least, that was what Ryouji thought. Was he right? Well, only time could prove him right, truthfully. If he won this whole shebang due to his speed, then he was gonna be pretty badass because of it. Anyways, while yes, Ryouji did have the unfortunate side effect of some blurry vision, thankfully, it wasn't severe and he could very well manage to pull off the attack that he needed to do. Of course, if his opponent fired some object smaller than even a senbon, it was most likely to hit him due to the blurred vision coming into play, but Ryouji had his doubts that his opponent had any equipment like that, or otherwise he would have used it earlier when Ryouji was running at him like a madman. Thus, Ryouji could actually see Ravana almost completely besides a few details on his face which were nearly impossible to see, like his mouth and eyes. Was this gonna be some epic, uber, badass Taijutsu fight, or was Ryouji gonna prove his superiority and crush some hopes and dreams? Who knew, really?! Exciting possibilities! Once Ryouji reached four feet away from Ravana, he would punch immediately, which would, along with producing a distinct howling sound akin to that of a wolf, would fire a projectile crafted from his own air pressure. It wasn't easily dodged, especially with the fact that it actually covered a decent amount of area(combined with Ryouji's impressive speed, of course), and finally the fact that just like Ryouji, it was probable that Ravana had messed up vision too. Now, air pressure attacks like the Wolf Fang Fist weren't usually super visible, and while you could see it enough with normal vision, with blurred vision you'd have difficulties seeing it, especially since this would be the first time Ravana would even experience this jutsu. Thus, the moves wide range, Ryouji's speed, the attack sort of being hard to see, and the close quarters they were in all melded together to actually make this a difficult attack to avoid(or at least, this is what Ryouji thought), and that SHOULD have been enough to be the end of this tournament match. After all, this attack had the power to break more than a few bones, and that was almost always enough to cause a knock out, especially considering the move was large enough to easily score a direct hit, the middle of the attack heading at Ravana's chest. Still, with how much of a slimy worm Ravana was earlier, Ryouji was definitely on guard in the case that this wasn't enough to end the fight. That powerful blast of air pressure which came from his fist 'cause of the Wolf Fang Fist was Justice! It was an odd name coming from someone like Ryouji, as Ryouji's definition of morals was quite peculiar when it came to your average person. For him, might definitely made right, winner takes all! He would have no problem with doing whatever he felt like with the unconscious body of his oppoments, whether it be something comedic like drawing a penis on the forehead, to looting, or even things that were much, much, much worse. And if he picked a fight with some random guy and won for no reason? He was still the good guy in the situation, 'cause he won! It didn't matter who the random guy in that situation was, it could have been a frail old man for pete's sake! Well, not that Ryouji liked to pick on fodder. If someone could get his jimmies all riled up in a fight, then at the very least they were a form of entertainment, no matter how small. Meanwhile, Ravana was definitely Evil. Always trying to beat up someone(like poor old Ryouji!), or not losing to his attacks! He definitely didn't have any sort of grace, not wanting to lay down and catch the hands from his attack. Oh well. He still had enough stamina to use more jutsu if he really needed it, which was exactly what he was going to do if his first attack wasn't enough to completely end the fight, assuming he was still in the correct range(at the very least, three feet away from Ravana), placement, and time to even properly use the attack in the first place, and if he could still see Ravana moving. Then, this would happen: Justice immediately would fly forth from a jab of his fist of fury, and with its large grip and lightning fast speed, should have been enough to defeat the Evil that stood in his way of successfully winning this match. Still, Ryouji recognized the fact that Ravana might somehow have the ability to counter his movements, as the forces of the universes were against the Golden Whirlwind. For instance, considering that Ravana might have somehow got up first, then Ryouji would adjust his plans accordingly. Basically, the Golden Whirlwind was going to be watching out for any tomfoolery on Ravana's side that might have effected any positive outcome for Ryouji, and thus, would alter his plans of attack if this were to happen. Jutsu Used: Wolf Fang Fist, Wolf Fang Fist(this 1 is mostly hypothetical though)
  2. Bloodline Name | Taiyo no Senshi Possessors | Ryouji, Public[1/8] Appearance | Possessors of this bloodline usually have gold hair and hazel eyes, and have a strong preference to Yellow and its various shades. Abilities | Genetic Engineering[Passive]: Through the Taiyo no Senshi's genetic alterations, they've been made into the perfect warriors. Always ready for battle, the nervous of the Taiyo no Senshi have been enhanced and thus, they possess higher reflexes than the standard Shinobi, giving them a +2 to reflex. Altered Ninjutsu[Passive]: Through these same genetic engineering techniques that blessed them with superhuman reflexes, the Taiyo no Senshi have been altered to specialize in Ninjutsu and outshine all others when it comes to this field. Thus, they gain a +2 in the base stats of all Ninjutsu. Weaknesses | Specialists: The members of the Taiyo no Senshi bloodline are forced to master Ninjutsu due to being engineered to be so proficient with the specialty. Unusual Physiology: Although the genetic alterations to those with this bloodline cause powerful benefits, it's also altered there body in such a way that it becomes incredibly hard for them to get healed. Thus, any Ijutsu with the aim of trying to heal them takes twice the usual chakra in order succeed. Crippling Overspecialization: Due to how much focus that's placed on the enhancement of Ninjutsu, other areas of their skill were forced to take a dramatic hit. To this end, those of the Taiyo no Senshi are unable to specialize in Ijutsu, Bukijutsu, Genjutsu, and all civilian specialties. Underdeveloped Bodies: Any muscle that a member of the Taiyo no Senshi has is pretty much for show, as due to these genetic alterations that they carry inside of them which grants them such prowess with Ninjutsu that as a result, the user's physical capabilities suffer hard. Because of this, the bloodline's members are always stuck with 1 strength regardless of any type of boosts. Chakra Cost | None
  3. OOC: Yeah, no, I'm gonna have to call admins and open a dispute. The fact that the Hikage is removing me from the village makes not an OUNCE of IC sense, and edges eerily close to the field of metagame as I've expressed my desire to leave the flame village to find rp elsewhere multiple times(albeit, temporarily.) For starters, consider this little snippet from my character's history: "Ryouji managed to harness the negative energy and use it as motivation towards one of the greatest students in the academy, and at the end of his time as an Academy Student, he graduated top of his class at the age of twelve, which served to boost his ego to near toxic proportions." Mind you, this Hikage is exiling a CHILD, WITH LIVING PARENTS. And for what reason? That he may be a little dickish? While yes, it IS true that as a Genin he became a douche, "near toxic" exemplifies the fact that it isn't NEARLY enough to be kicked out of a village. If the Flame Village was doing that, it would be extremely hypocritical to exile only me when my squad member Oodenta acts nearly identical to me, if you would take the time to peruse prior posts in this thread and his character's personality traits. Not only should personality not enough to get kicked out of the village, but you should also consider that I've NEVER met/rp'd withthe Hikage, and besides a short sparring session with a Genin that hasn't popped back up on the site, this is my first IC thread. Therefore, how would she know Ryouji was too unstable to be in the village? And if she did, what was the point of putting me in a squad in the first place? While yes, Ryouji does want to leave the village(temporarily, mind you), no would have ANY IC knowledge of this, making this pure and blatant metagame. If the admins are to side with me, I'd like that Fa's post gets voided and he, along with the Hikage are prevented from reentering this thread. I think that's fair, because this thread has been running for far too long for a mere spar(which, imo is why a 48 hour rule or something similar should be implemented.) Thank you for hearing me out.

OOC: Hello! I'd like to summon admin intervention in this battle, as I have an issue with Ravana's post. Going by a variety of reasons such as godmod, ignoring system rules and contradicting details clearly outlined in my first post, it shouldn't have been enough to do the actions he's employed in his post. My primary issue with his post starts at this area: "Thus as the shinobi would have gotten within five meters, Ravan would have begun his sprint toward him closing the gap of the two meaning his fist still cocked back would be only a meter away from Ravana and as he would attempt to swing Ravana would have already tilted his head out of the way and closed the distance his right hand would have wrapped around the throat of the shinobi and crushed his windpipe and breaking his neck." Not only does this area of the post reek heavily of godmod, it doesn't make any logical sense. How would, with my superior speed, would he manage to run at me(mind you, he has to gather momentum and i've been running a rather long distance) and dodge my initial attack, when, according to the Attribute System, this isn't possible with such close quarters(him attempting to avoid my attack a meter away.) A quote from the Attribute System itself: "For threats that originate within 3 meters, you must have a reflex attribute one level below the speed of the attack, or higher." As you see, he dodges(or at least, tries too) my attack within one meter, but, when you compare my 7 speed(due to buffs) to his 5 reflex, this makes no type of sense given the above quote in the attribute system. But nevermind that at all, as his godmod of my character attacking once I was a meter away from him DIRECTLY contradicts information presented in my first post: "Once he was in proper range for the technique, he punched outward, unleashing a sphere of air pressure developed from the momentum of his punch, and a sound that was eerily similar to that of a wolf's howl." I attack as soon as I'm in range of the usage of the Wolf Fang Fist, the technique having a range of five feet, which is greater than a meter(which is, according to the internet about 3.3 feet). So, not only does most of his post reek of excruciating GODMOD(against site rules), he attempts to control my character in a manner that directly contradicts information in my earlier post. Thus, as I would have already attack BEFORE I was a meter from him(less than two, greater than one), he'd be met with an air pressure blast from my Wolf Fang Fist much earlier than he described in his post. In fact, if he's trying to get in range where he's a meter away from me, then he'd just end up running into the attack and knocking himself out(along with a myriad of broken bones all over his body, due to the fact that the air pressure blast's strength is based off of my speed stat, which, due to buffs, is seven). It also covers a decent area, being three meters wide and three meters tall. Wolf Fang Fist, as per its description travels at the speed of the user, and thus, according to the attribute system, is too fast for him to dodge in such a tight close combat situation. In conclusion, I believe that due to godmod, the ignoring details in earlier posts, and ignoring the attribute system that my attack should land and make me the winner of this fight. Thank you. What the hell was he doing here? Who knew why he was brought here, but it looked like Ryouji could nothing more than continue onwards to his current path, and if any difficulties would obstruct him, he'd have no choice but to fight his way out. Even though he was in quite the strange situation, Ryouji was confident in his abilities in spite of his rank as a Genin. His speed was his blessing, and if he needed to fight he was sure that his blazing speed, along with his intelligence when it came to fights, would be more than enough to defeat any opponent that would come his way. As he emerged from an extremely dark tunnel, the sounds of cheering filled the air as Ryouji figured out what was going on here. It seems like I'm in an arena of some sort, but, where? Ugh, it doesn't matter. I can get my way through this if I beat up enough people, that's how it always works in Anime, at least.. Tapping the ground lightly with his left foot to check if he would have proper footing, Ryouji noticed someone pop out from the other end of the arena, moving five meters from the other end of the wall. I guess this is my opponent..he doesn't look too tough. All I have to do is get into my speed stance, blitz him from across the arena, and knock his ass out with a Wolf Fang Fist. You know, I'm freakin' glad I took the time to train myself, it came right on time for the tournament! It was a crazy plan, yes, but, it showed just how confident Ryouji was in his speed. If his opponent possessed poor reflexes, then even with the large distance between the two, Ryouji was sure that he wouldn't be able to react in time. It would be an anticlimatic ending to this fight, that was for sure, and the crowd probably wouldn't like it either. But, Ryouji was never the type to care about stranger's opinions, especially when they kidnapped him. While in the middle of his thoughts, Ryoiji had also moved five meters from his own side of the wall, noting the metal gate that closed behind him. Truly, it seemed that escape wasn't possible here, and while he wasn't exactly sure of how strong the walls were, he didn't know if his opponent would help him escape. Therefore, wasting his energy to break down the walls seemed like a pointless endeavor. Well, at the very least I get to show off my power..this is the day where the world will lay its eyes on Ryouji, the Golden Beast of the Flame Village! Adrenaline rushed through him as the young Shinobi was ready to claim glory for himself. He only wished that his current clothes were more flashier so more people could remember his performance, but, unfortunately he was stuck in some awful black Gi. His headband proudly displayed his home village on his forehead, and he wore sturdy slippers that were perfect for this sort of terrain. He judged that the ground was sturdy enough for him to move at full speed without any issues, and that his good ol' fashioned blitz plan was perfect if his opponent couldn't react to him. Immediately after the announcer would say "FIGHT!", Ryouji would take on the stance of the Wolf Style, giving him far quicker movements than he normally possessed. Right after getting into this stance, which was easy to do, he would run directly at his opponent at maximum speed. Now, obviously if his opponent could react to his speed Ryouji would try to figure out a counter, but, if he couldn't, then this match would be easy as pie. In the scenario that his opponent's reflexes would be too poor compared to Ryouji's speed, Ryouji would finish him off with the signature move of the Wolf Style, the Wolf Fang Fist. Once he was in proper range for the technique, he punched outward, unleashing a sphere of air pressure developed from the momentum of his punch, and a sound that was eerily similar to that of a wolf's howl. This very same momentum gave it the devastating damage that it did, and if his opponent possessed paper thin durability, then it was likely that this attack would knock them out clean, along with breaking bones across his body. The Wolf Fang Fist wasn't an easily dodged move, either. Despite its range being similar to that of a shotgun blast, it covered quite the large area. The attack itself was three meters in length and three meters in height, making it even more difficult to avoid if you didn't possess the reflexes to dodge the move. Ryouji was positive that this would be more than enough to end the fight, but, if for some reason it wasn't, he was still wary. Despite all that arrogance he carried in him, he knew that a fight wasn't over until your opponent was knocked out or dead. Stamina Points: 50/100 Jutsu Used: Blitzing Wolf Fang, Wolf Fang Fist

  15. Ryouji wasn't going to let some stupid little bench stop him from making his way to Oodenta. No matter what parlor trick that he tried to pull out of his ass, Ryouji had the raw physical prowess to avoid it, or at least, that's what he thought. The bench would have moved at laughable speeds, especially compared with how good Ryouji's reflexes was, and while this bench was pretty long, it wasn't very wide nor tall, making clearing it with with a simple jump incredibly easy. The rather close distance between the bench and Ryouji wasn't much of a factor, and the reason was simple: He moved far more faster than either of these objects, and it was little more than a mere nuisance. It would be laughable to think that an elite shinobi such as himself could be taken out by a mere bench. Ryouji was entirely aware of the fact that some sort of object was flying at him from behind through the air, and with the fact that it didn't manage to hit him yet, it must have been slow compared to Ryouji. Seeing as how Oodenta had JUST thrown the staff and strings of chakra attached itself to it, it was pretty obvious that the object Ryouji was hearing was the staff. The staff would most likely be flying at him with enough speed for him to hear it, and while that wasn't a one hundred percent concrete answer, he at least managed to formulate a plan quickly, which would hopefully end this silly little spar once and for all. Both of these objects were heading towards Ryouji at turtle speeds, and thus, this would give him ample time to form an effective counter. With Ryouji being directly in the middle of the bench, and the staff coming straight at the upper portion of his back, he judged from his hearing that the staff was much more closer, and from how it looked earlier that getting hit by it could hurt pretty badly. Thus, he planned to do something that was a little risky. It was a fact that he moved faster than this staff could, and it was a fact that this bench was too slow to hit him. So, why bother trying to dodge them both when he really only needed to take care of this distracting little bench? Not bothering to slow down, Ryouji would leap over the incoming bench once it was possible for him to do so, retaining momentum from the jump to the point where his speed wouldn't decrease at all. As he started the jump over the bench, Ryouji knew that he would be close enough to start a war on the ground, attempting to land on Oodenta in such a way that it would end up with Ryouji sitting on top of Oodenta's chest, and thus, the one with the advantage in this situation. Most of all was the fact that Ryouji's stature would play a huge role in dodging the staff, due to going from running to sitting so fast was the likelihood of the staff missing Ryouji if it continued on its current trajectory. Assuming he was successful in landing on top of Oodenta, Ryouji would immediately start wailing on him, who Ryouji assumed would be most likely dazed from having such a huge object moving so fast land on him. Each of the punches(four in total) Ryouji launched were all meant to inflict major pain, and hopefully cause this nerd to quick. Knocking someone out like this wasn't the most optimal of conditions, but with no jutsu, what could he realy do? The first punch was at his nose, carrying with it enough force to break his nose, while the last three were aimed at his temples, Ryouji intending to knock him out. As always though, Ryouji was on guard for any trickery or counters Oodenta might have tried to pull out. However, it was entirely plausible that Ryouji would be surprised and that Oodenta would move out of the way before he could land on him, but nevertheless, Ryouji would be sure to safely roll along the ground, his momentum carried as it would transition into a run to analyze things from that point on. But, this wouldn't be his primary counter, and really, even as he leapt over the bench heading straight at Oodenta, his brain was formulating plans to go ahead and kick some ass, no matter how many main character powers he could whip out his sleeve! Losing in this fight wasn't an option, no matter what happened. Ryouji had worked all his shinobi career to craft his body to perfection, defeating many of his peers in combat. What were the chances his legend would occur if that streak ended now? Especially to a big, dumb brute with the audacity to call him a girl! Add to the fact that this guy seemed to take Ryouji extremely casually, which only fueled his already boiling rage. WC: 826 TWC: 3099
  16. Through some divine miracle of whatever twisted Creator existed in this fucked up reality, Oodenta ACTUALLY MANAGED TO SOMEHOW REACT TO RYOUJI'S SPEED! He was a little impressed, really. This meant that either this prick wasn't your average Genin, or Ryouji was slacking off. Worst case scenario, it was even a combination of both. Thankfully, it was nothing that his potent reflexes couldn't react too, but, nonetheless, Ryouji was going to take this spar much more seriously. It would be even more imperative that he ended this before it dragged on, or else he could have pulled some horse shit outta his ass that would make your average plot armored anime hero blush. Nope, Ryouji couldn't stop the staff from being thrown in time, but, that didn't matter. It looked like your average stick, and when it did its fancy little spin and "rocketed" through the air(extra emphasis on those quotes, it was moving slow as shit for Ryouji), the Genin used a sidestep to the left that was just enough to dodge the flying staff and retain his forward momentum, but it wouldn't totally change his position, and like a bull aiming to ram its horns into something, Ryouji was still charging at Oodenta like a mad beast. Still, he took note of the strings that flew past him, clearly going towards the staff from the way they were aimed, even if his eyes were planted firmly on Oodenta and his general surroundings. It was obvious that in some fashion, it controlled the weapon, but exactly how and why were unknown to him, and it was becoming far more likely that this Oodentta actually had some sort of skill with the thing. It was all the more reason to end this fight with a single, possibly even lethal blow. By the time Oodentta used those chakra strings of his, the rod had already flew past Ryouji five meters, giving great credit to the reflexes that his squadmmate possessed. But, in Ryouji's mind, the usage of those chakra strings would be his downfall. Even if he could manipulate the staff to attempt to strike Ryouji from behind, he was definitely gonna hear it travel from behind and get out of the way in time with his lovely reflexes. Plus, with how far away the staff had been by the time Oodenta started the jutsu, coupled with Ryouji's level of speed and how close they were in general, Ryouji was confident that it would give him the time he needed to engage in hand to hand again, and unless he had some other neat surprises this was probably gonna be it for him. Even if it was, Ryouji had to give him at least a shred of respect. This was definitely the toughest fight he'd ever had to face, and it would definitely teach him to work even harder in the future. Once Ryouji was in range, he would once again attempt to elbow Oodenta's jaw, but this time, if it was successful, he was serious about ending the fight quickly, and would follow it up with a right handed punch to the throat, opposite of the arm he would use to elbow, and coming in with enough force to the point that Ryouji would prove his point about being the strongest in the squad. Both of these attacks were at full force, as Ryouji really wasn't the time to hold his punches back, even if it was a spar. Even if Oodenta gave up though, Ryouji was still kicking him in the nuts. Even with all these recent developments, no way was he forgetting something as stress relieving as that! His only concern was that Yoshinori would try to stop any post victory gloating he wanted to do. His Sensei looked EXACTLY like the type of scrub that would want to ruin his fun. Overall, the flying staff wouldn't be much of a major interruption, especially when Ryouji was just using some simple taijutsu attack. WC: 665 TWC: 2273
  17. Yoshinori, Yoshinori, Yoshinori... Ryouji hoped that repeating this name in his mind would somehow make his Sensei appear like some type of badass worthy of his time, but, ironically enough, it had the opposite effect, emphasizing just how much of a wimpy little nut this dude looked like. Nevertheless, he'd keep these negative thoughts to himself. Who knew? Maybe this guy had some trick up his sleeves that could assist Ryouji in his quest for power, and this wouldn't be a total waste of time. Then, he could kick this Yoshinori's ass and show off for the Hikage. Maaaan~, I just come up with the most awesome plans. I'm like, thirty kajillion steps ahead of everyone else, don't know why I'm not the Hikage to be honest. Okay, even Ryouji knew he was exaggerating a little with that last line. Taijutsu would help him early on immensely, and even later on in his Shinobi career, but he knew without a shadow of a doubt that Ninjutsu was the greatest speciality by far. The only reason he hadn't bothered learning it was because at this level, it wasn't really all that useful. What was he gonna do? Shoot little shitty fireballs at turtle speeds? Naaaaah, that was dumb as hell. He noticed that his Sensei didn't seem to be all that talkative, and to be honest, Ryouji didn't care what the hell he said unless it was something that would help him improve. So, while Yoshinori did a little training, Ryouji took the opportunity to think of some battle strategies. What could the legendary Golden Beast of the Flame Village do to improve his skills, with an admittedly mediocre repertoire? To be honest...I think I'm doin' all I can with the skills I've got. A little after this, I've got to develop some specific skills for the Wolf Style, y'know? How badass would it be if people were scared of me and my signature skill? Then, everyone would notice me..and maybe... through that popularity.. I could get- Unaware of the passage of time, his thoughts were interrupted by a voice even more audacious than his. Such vigor! He even had the bravery(or stupidity) to insult both Ryouji and Yoshinori at the same time, even while being over a hour late! He just HAD to see what type of douchery he was dealing with here, causing him to leap right up from his meditation position and move closer to inspect whoever the hell this was, his position now two meters away from Oodenta. This is going to be fun! He dresses like shit, but he isn't some boring old dick like Yoshinori.. count me the fuck in! Now, we just need the third member to be some medic female that's good with making sandwiches, and this squad is fucking set! Perhaps, somewhere a God does exist! Stop the presses, RELIGION MIGHT NOT BE A SHAM! But, the world seemed to LOVE to mess with Ryouji, and just as he was about to warm up to this dude even SLIGHTLY, Oodenta managed to fuck everything up by saying he couldn't even tell if Ryouji was a guy. This little piece of shit.. yeah, Yoshi might like taking his bullshit, but I swear to fucking.. I don't know who, that if I get the chance to spar this little piece of crap, I'm kicking him in his dick. How DARE he call me a girl, after all my progress, AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE WENT THROUGH? Still, despite his seething rage, he was a Shinobi. The art of deception was his forte, and he maintained a small smile to mask all of his killing intent and toxicity, aimed directly at Oodenta. Ryouji had the intelligence to know that if he attacked now, it'd most likely get stopped, and he wouldn't want his beatdown interrupted at all. "Quite the dynamic entrance you've made, haha.. I'm.. a guy, actually. Ryouji D. Gold, I call myself the Flame Village's.. Golden Beast.." Just looking at him pissed Ryouji off, and he couldn't stand holding this facade any longer. But, it seemed as if Yoshinori answered his prayers, wanting the two Genin to spar each other. As soon as Yoshinori stopped his incessant speaking, Ryouji would waste no time in attacking Oodeta, charging in at full speed. Was this a little dirty? Perhaps, but, in the world of a Shinobi, you needed to be ready for an attack at any time, and Ryouji was much too upset at the insult to even care, not that he would in the first place. He was going to show Yoshinori how "capable" Oodenta really was. Ryouji's first attack, like many of his others would be aimed at Oodenta's vital points due to his subpar strength. Plus, he didn't really have the greatest stamina in the world, so ending it fast was probably in his best interest. He wasn't really trying to kill the guy though, and was content with kicking his ass until he got bored or Yoshinori stopped him. As soon as he got into proper range, Ryouji would attempt to land the first attack, something of a strategy to setup the vital point strike tactic. It was quite the powerful(at least in Ryouji's opinion) elbow strike to the jaw, intended to disorient Oodenta with enough time for a follow up strike. If this elbow strike was successful, he would immediately follow this up with a palm strike to the bridge of the nose, intending to break it, making it far harder to breathe and concentrate in the fight, and if this second attack was successful, he would aim to finish this spar once and for all with a punch to the solar plexus immediately performed after the palm strike, which, if it succeeded, Ryouji guessed it would have the effect of knocking the breathe out of him and sending him to the ground. Of course, the possibility of none of these attacks working lurked in his head, but he was ready for that, which was why he attacked only with his left arm, keeping both his free arm and his legs at the ready just in case Oodenta managed to react in time to any of his initial attacks in a way that Ryouji definitely wouldn't find favorable. It sounded complicated, but, Ryouji was confident that his reflexes and speed would suffice in performing such a feat, and really, how competent could a bitch ass hoe like Oodenta be, anyways? 18. Finally! He'd been assigned to a squad, and thus, would be given even more chances to prove his superiority, which was especially important in the eyes of his sensei. A short-term goal that Ryouji was looking for was entrance into the Chuunin Exams, and hopefully, with the recommendation of his Sensei that he was sure to get, the Hikage would find Ryouji capable of representing the village in the Chuunin Exams. And, if by some horrific, sliver of a chance he didn't make it in.. well, the Flame Village hadn't even see a fraction of the destruction he could cause when he was pissed off. His choice of clothing was simplistic; while this was an important milestone in his life, he didn't want to risk any damage to his high-end clothing gear. It was entirely in the realm of possibility(and also what Ryouji wished) that his Sensei would have the Genin spar each other in order to get a firm grasp on the capabilities of the team, and the type of clothing Ryouji was wearing while a little flashy, didn't make him feel the least bit uncomfortable while fighting. He wore a simple pink shirt, with black pants that fit tightly around him and black sandals, his headband worn proudly on his forehead. Slipping a hand into his pocket while walking to one of Flame Village's parks, he withdrew a small slip of paper which contained important information to refresh on. So, my Sensei is called Yoshinori..that's a pretty stupid name, if I say so myself. Hope he ain't some weakling, 'cause if I manage to kick his ass I'm demanding a promotion. Already, his opinion on this Yoshinori fellow wasn't very high. Perhaps when the opportunity presented itself, Ryouji would have to take a chance and see how good this man's skills were for himself. After all, he considered himself a prodigy in the area of Taijutsu! All he needed was to strike just one weak point, and he was confident it would be enough to incapacitate anyone foolish enough to try and defeat him. Making his way into the park, after a little bit of time spent wandering and ogling the local hotties, he found exactly who he was looking for. That same little slip of paper included a picture, otherwise he'd have no chance in trying to locate this dude in the first place. Doesn't seem particularly he sucked off the Hikage- wait, she's a "girl". Pft. Standing around five feet away from his Sensei, Ryouji started to introduce himself, sitting down on the grass. "I believe you're Yoshinori? Ryouji's the name, Taijutsu and kicking some ass is my game! So, where are the rest of the losers?" Yes, he was entirely aware of how awful an impression this could be, but, no such thing as bad publicity! All he needed to do was kick ass to back up all that smack talk, and he'd be fine! Girls loved a guy that was alpha, and Ryouji thought he was pretty alpha. His Sensei, on the otherhand.. dude looked like a virgin. WC: 521
  19. What a joke! This edgy little twerp thought he possessed the fighting ability necessary in order to defeat him? Well, Ryouji wouldn't be the Flame Village's Golden Beast if he were to reject this type of challenge, suicidal for the challenger, but nonetheless, fodder had to get dunked on so they could learn the power of the one, the only, WOLF FANG STYLE! "You? You're gonna try to win against me? Don't kid yourself, I can tell that you're about to get your ass kicked. Still, it's all the way out here in seclusion, so I guess whatever rep you have is safe from getting ruined. IF you have any rep. Hard to imagine a guy like you has any amount of respect.." While he spoke, he walked closer to Kaji. After all, they were both sparring, right? It wouldn't make sense for Ryouji to stand so far away! He wanted to make this douchebag FEEL THE PAIN! Was the young Shinobi overreacting? Well, obviously. Anyone that spectated this match, if they were, could tell that Ryouji was obviously the type of dude to get triggered pretty easily, even if he was oblivious to that fact. As Ryouji watched his fellow peer take a fighting stance, he wouldn't even do the same as a sign of disrespect. Why should he? He was positive that this man wasn't a threat to him whatsoever, and thus, using his Martial Art to defeat what was the equivalency of an insect, was in his opinion, a disgrace to the fighting style that he'd spent months on working to perfect to the point where it could be used in combat. Even nowadays, he was still practicing, but an opponent of this skill level wouldn't give him the data he needed to use in order to improve. Ryouji's speed would be a determining factor in this matchup, and how well Kaji would be able to react to it. Ryouji knew that his speed amongst his peers was unmatchable, and even the more stronger of ninja had some trouble with keeping track of his blistering speed and developing the proper counters, and it was all thanks to the brutal Taijutsu training that he went through. The specialty wasn't exactly the most popular one to put all your focus on, but it fit Ryouji's nature perfectly. What better way to prove your superiority than through a nice, long, old fashioned beatdown? Still, despite his abnornal speed, every fight wouldn't be an automatic win for him. It was possible that he could screw this up to the point where he lost, even though an outcome like that was pretty unlikely. Although Ryouji hated to admit his flaws, he realized that he pretty much hit like a frail little girl, which led him to aim for the weak spots on a body. Parts like the eyes, the nose, or even the genitals were all fair game, as in Ryouji's pursuit to win, honor was a trivial term that would only serve to hold him back from the sweet, warm embrace of success. As long as Kaji wasn't too durable, then it would be certain that these type of attacks would work. Of course, Ryouji wouldn't go far enough to kill him, but he was gonna have a little fun, and quite possibly torture him if the opportunity presented itself. As soon as Kaji completed his fighting stance, Ryouji would run at him with his maximum speed without even the slightest of warnings to signal the other shinobi that the match would begin, eager to get the first strike in. As soon as Ryouji was within range to attack, he aimed to chop Kaji's throat, having noticed that he hadn't bothered to protect his throat nor chin with that poorly made stance of his. With the blistering difference between Ryouji's speed and Kaiji's reflexes, it was likely that this attack would land, and if it did, it came with enough force where it would momentarily stop Kaji's breathing, opening him up for another attack. Upon the successful landing of this strike, Ryouji would immediately follow this throat chop up with another attack, not giving Kaji even a second to recover. With his other hand, Ryouji would use a palm strike aimed directly at the most fragile part of the nose, using enough strength to break, or at the very least fracture it. Either outcome would suffice, as they would both cause his nose to bleed if successful(or, at least it would on a regular human. Ryouji didn't really know what type of tricks this dude was packing), hindering his breathing capability and overall making fighting a pain in the ass. Finally, if that attack was successful, he would immediately follow it up with a punch directly on the solar plexus with the hand he originally used to throat chop him, which was a weak point on the human body which was responsible for "knocking the breath" out of someone. He even went through the trouble of switching up which hand he'd strike with in an attempt to utterly confuse Kaji about where the next attack was coming from, and thus, make these attacks harder to counter, especially with Ryouji's speed. Ryouji was definitely applying enough force for this attack to stun him, and if it did, he gauged that it would be enough to knock Kaji to the ground, where he would be vulnerable to even more attacks. In the area of close combat, Ryouji thought himself unmatched, but, if it came down to it and Kaji managed to stop or interrupt one of his attacks, he would make sure to come up with the appropriate counter attack. But, he honestly believed in his own skill to the point where he considered the chances of that happening miniscule at best. Although Ryouji could be loud and obnoxious, when it came to the area of fighting, he was extremely competent to a scary degree. While he usually always insulted himself, he pretty much could only go up from here. WC: 1010
  20. Ryouji was feeling pretty damn happy today, for reasons he didn't even know. Still, he could guess that it was due to his recent progress with training, but, he couldn't exactly place a finger on one specific thing. Honestly, life was going pretty good at the moment, mingling with the various girls of the Flame village, making cash, getting stronger than before..really, all he needed was some jutsu and he'd be set. Still, when he planned to go to the training center, he didn't really plan to engage in any vigorous physical activity, and it was clear from how he was dressed. Wearing top of the line designer clothing(he'd never settle for less), Ryouji's headband was wrapped firmly around his head, wearing a light, peach colored long sleeved shirt with bleached jean shorts and peach colored low top shoes. He couldn't help it! No matter where he was, Ryouji absolutely refused to dress anything lower than a 7 out of 10 on the fashion scale, especially when the primary reason he was even going to this damn center was because he was trying to pick up a few girls. It wasn't like he was old enough to go clubbing, and he didn't have a squad, so honestly, going to some random training field was one of the best places for shinobi his age to mingle. Was it stupid considering that this place was considered "dangerous",and that the inside village was far more likely to have girls? Perhaps. But, what type of man would he be if he didn't do the occasional stupid move? It could pay off, after all. The road to the training center was a little dangerous, sure, but for a Shinobi of his calibre, it didn't matter. With how confident he swaggered through the forest, his arrogance oozing out with each and every step, he was a hundred percent sure that unless his attack was some super badass, they wouldn't have the guts to try and attack him. Still, even though he look pretty unsuspecting, he was far from it, taking in his surroundings through the usage of his other senses like his hearing. Emerging from the forest, Ryouji came across a massive clearing which he'd sometimes decide to train, and yes, he encountered some pretty hot babes over here. Not all that often mind you, or this would be the only place he would ever come too. In the middle of the field, Ryouji's eyes caught what seemed to be someone just around his age stretching pretty damn hard, just fifteen meters away from his location. Ryouji wasn't trying to get the drop on him, as even if this dude was a total stranger, it wasn't like he gave off any threatening vibes. Was Ryouji being an underestimating prick? Sure he was, but no one could really call him out on it. Mmm, better take out an apple and take a bite outta it, that'll make me look like an asshole. And, take out an apple was exactly what he did! At ten meters away from the stretching individual, right behind him, Ryouji would take out the apple, making a loud crunching sound. If he hadn't noticed him before, he would definitely notice him now. Swallowing the food and licking off the juices that might have stained his lips, Ryouji cleared his throat, throwing the rest of the apple away, and clapped his hands. "Oh, man.. I came out here expecting a wild, senpai in the streets freah in the sheets type of girl, and I get.. you. I don't even know who you are? I'm the awesome Ryouji Gold of course, I'm sure you know. ANYWAAAAYS, I'd ask for a spar, but, uh.. I'd kick your ass, so I'm not sure how you wanna do this..?" WC: 635

  22. While Ryouji was confident that the obstacle course was successful in making him more aware of his surroundings, improving his reflexes, he wasn't so sure that it was worth wasting around a hour to set the whole thing back up. Thus, he sat around for a few minutes thinking of an exercise that would help improve his reflexes, coming to the conclusion that the art of shadow boxing would help him the most here. Visualization was far more important than people gave it credit for, even giving similar results to doing the actual exercise. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to work on his Taijutsu form either. Leaping up from his seated position, he assumed the form of the Wolf Stance, a fighting style he'd developed from observing and studying other martial arts. Much like a wolf, each hit was precise and sure to cause damage, or even kill. No energy would be wasted on an attack that wouldn't kill, or at the very least incapacitate an opponent. Clearing his mind of all distractions, Ryouji closed his eyes for a few moments, imagining a perfect replication of himself to spar with. What better opponent to push himself to his limits than his own clone? It would definitely be a fight that would push him to his mental limits, and he needed that. To the unaware observer, it would appear as if Ryouji was simply striking the air aimlessly, but, he knew just how far from the truth an observation like that was. In the depths of his mind, his clone was every bit as formidable as he imagined him to be, and it would only be through improvement midfight would he manage to prevail over his clone, but that was a task which was definitely easier said than done. He couldn't waste anytime on his usual fight banter, and for once in his life, Ryouji couldn't even manage a single word insult unless he wanted to eat a fist and get knocked on his ass. Shifting his body position ever so slightly, Ryouji avoided a strike, with barely enough time to follow it up with an elbow to the face, managing to knock his clone away a few feet. However, as expected of someone with Ryouji's exact skill, he recovered quickly, using that amazing speed Ryouji possessed in order to get back into hand to hand range in an instant, unleashing a disorienting combo of punches of kicks that Ryouji was only able to block. Even then, the block wasn't very successful in reducing the overall damage of the attack, and he was nearly knocked to the ground, sent flying back over five feet with a final kick from the clone. Ryoiji would have no time to recover, knowing he would have to fight through the pain, dodging yet another strike from the clone and returning with an uppercut which knocked it off of its feet. Just as Ryouji thought the fight was won, or at the very least in his favor, the clone managed to recover midair, doing a back flip to create some distance between them and settling back into the Wolf Stance. "Tch.. if that was a clean blow, I know that would have been enough to disorient me for at least a few seconds. You must have performed a parry at the last second to deflect some of the momentum behind that attack. It's exactly the type of skill I would perform.. I think we both know we ain't exactly the most sturdiest of ninjas, so we usually have to use our evasive prowess, or at the very least strike first." A momentary pause in the fight, the silence unnerving to Ryouji, who was used to trash talking. Still, he knew he needed to focus. That talking gave Ryouji the chance to recover after feeling the pain from those initial hits the clone landed, but it was also giving the clone to recover as well. He knew that just like him, the clone was looking for any hole jn his stance that he could take, which is when the match would resume. The tension is so thick that you could cut through it with a soon as one of us find a flaw to attack, the momentum will be in the attacker's favor. This is bad.. how long can we keep this up? Wait.. I think I see it! It felt as if Ryouji moved his body without thinking, but whatever it was, the clone seemed to move at the same time. An opening in his stance! He definitely saw one in mine, or else we wouldn't have moved at the same time. I have to do it! I have to surpass my body's limits, dodge his attack, and land a clean blow in order to get a decisive victory, but the only way I can do that is to dodge it cleanly! The two Shinobi entered hand to hand range, the clone preparing his own attack. While Ryouji currently didn't know where the clone would be attacking, he thought of a neat little trick. By looking into the clones eyes, he would be able to tell exactly where the clone was planning to attack. The chin! Of course, I forgot to keep my chin down like an idiot! Body, MOVE! And, thankfully, Ryouji's body listened, cleanly avoiding the uppercut, surprising both him and the clone, and fluidly transitioning over to a counterattack, sweeping the clone off of his feet and aiming a fist directly at its face. "Heh, looks like I win, me. Now I just need to keep doing this everyday for about a hour, and I'll improve in no time! Along with some physical exercises, of course!" Opening his eyes, Ryouji stopped his shadow sparring, confident that he'd increased his reflexes far past what they normally were during this intensive training session. "I could work on my physical strength, but honestly, I can save that for another the near future though, I'll have to work on both my raw strength and developing the techniques of the Wolf Style into actual Taijutsu. It's sufficient for now, but.." He sat back down on the grass, staring at the clouds. "I'm not powerful enough.. I even feel like I should be stronger, but something is holding me back. If.. if I can't even beat the Hikage by the time I'm 18, I won't go down in the books at all, lost to the records of time. Tch.. that's such a shitty fate." The reason why Ryouji worked so hard, and strived for greatness was so people could look up to him, and not down just like they did when he was still an Academy Student. He NEEDED to prove how great he was, for himself, and for his family. "Well.. guess I can't just stick around here forever. Gotta get some rest and catch up on some entertainment eventually, heh. Maybe go over to the ramen shop and pick up a few bowls of Ramen.. yeah, Ramen is pretty delicio- ah, look at me ramblin' like some loon! Good thing ain't no one around these parts of the training fields." Ryouji picked himself off of the ground, picking up a sack which contained his valuables. While he wasn't too satisfied with his overall progress, he was at the very least a little happy that he managed to increase his physical prowess a few tiers while he was here, hoping that his next trips could be just as fruitful. 23. Ryouji made his dramatic entrance onto the training field, flying in leg first and landing on the dirt as if he came out of an action movie. Of course, the theatrics of his entrance were meant to impress, but, most were far too busy with training to bother paying attention to the Shinobi that was obviously hungry for it. Figured that today is off to an already sucky start! Tch, I spent like, five minutes coming up with that! The least these pricks could do is clap! Grumbling, Ryouji kicked a rock off into the distance, retreating to his own little corner of the training field that he often found himself in whenever he felt like he had enough of the world's stupidity. While this time, the world wasn't acting particularly stupid, he did feel that they were being super ungrateful! If Ryoujin put his mind to it, he was sure he could become the world's greatest actor! But, whatever, he didn't come here to be emo! He came here to enhance his physical prowess. It was a fact that Ryoujin was abnormally fast for someone his level, but the rest of his skills were a little lacking. Today, Ryoujin sought to improve his reflexes, which would make him all the more formidable when it came down to hand to hand combat. While he knew that all fights wouldn't start at close range, he was sure that his speed would be enough to easily close the gap, and if needed, he could always take the more sneaky route. It didn't really matter to him how he took his opponents down, as long as he looked badass while doing it. While his clothes were usually more flashy, with the difficulty of the obstacle course in front of him, Ryouji opted for some more casual clothes even if it reminded him a little of his early childhood. "Eh... hope this course ain't too hard for someone like me, that'd blow if I got my ass kicked by something I freakin' made!" The course was filled to the brim with traps and obstacles that could slow or even hurt Ryouji if he wasn't fast enough to react in time, and he was starting to wonder just how safe this whole thing was. But, he supposed he couldn't keep worrying about silly little things like safety if he wanted to get anywhere in this life. Sometimes, you had to take risks that weren't necessarily in your favor. Taking in a few breathes in order to calm his nerves, Ryouji charged right into the obstacle course, dodging a variety of traps like flying logs, pits, quicksand, and even kunai that could have even killed him if he were too careless. While he didn't get through the course completely unscathed, with a few nicks here and there to show that he really was working hard, Ryouji was still in good enough condition to keep on pushing his body to its limits. "Phew.. I.. don't think I should ever do something like that again. It would take too much time to try and redo the course so I can run through it again, and I swear one of those Kunai actually killed me. Next time I should probably dull the tips.." He sat on the soft grass, taking his time to catch his breathe. I've got to find a less time costing way to train.. WC: 574 Reflex Level 1 ----> 2

His eyes are as blue as the sky, leaving people that are attracted to him hypnotized in his gaze. As a martial artist, it is no wonder why his body looks so athletic. Perfectly toned, Ryouji sports every man's dream in an eight-pack. Ryouji's hair goes to his shoulders when he lets it down, although he often changes up his style whenever he feels like it. It's blonde in color and extremely well kept; He's never caught lacking whenever it comes to how good his hair looks. Not a single blemish exists on his face, despite the effects of puberty, as he pays for his acne and blemish remover. His teeth are as white as the snow and shine brilliantly under direct light. Ryouji's walk displays confidence, as he walks like how you're supposed to, with minimum stress on the spine. Clothing wise, Ryouji doesn't have a specific outfit that he likes to wear besides his preference to have his headband on his forehead, although even then he doesn't wear it outside of active duty all that much. It might not seem like it with the type of personality he has, but Ryouji is actually extremely up to date fashion wise and prefers to wear high end designer clothing. Even his boxers are expensive! With how well his shinobi duties pay him, it's pretty easy to pay for it. Ryouji is always tidy looking no matter what. Village | Flame Clan | None Village Ranking: | Genin Shinobi Ranking | C Element(s) | Fuuton Specialties | Taijutsu [Beginner] Bloodline | None Favorable | Money, Women, Power, Ramen Unfavorable | Being poor, Losing, Fishing, Broccoli. Personality | Born from the depths of poverty, it's no wonder that Ryoujii's an extremely greedy person. In hopes of greatly improving the quality of his life, he convinced his parents to enroll him in the Academy. Along with Power and Fame, Money is one of the most important things in his life. With him finally getting a glimpse of what having some cash is like, he adamantly refuses to go back to being poor ever again, and is willing to do whatever it takes to acquire as much money as he can, no matter how illegal his methods are. Despite this, he isn't the most frugal person with his cash, and often purchases things that most people would find frivolous in an attempt to flaunt his wealth. Ryouji is also -very- loud and arrogant, believing it to be his right to eventually become the strongest Shinobi and take the world by storm. He's willing to get rid of any obstacles in his way. However, Ryouji refuses to kill children unless it's out of self defense or they're Shinobi, admitting that even a scroungel like him has morals. His arrogance is also evident once he's in a fight, constantly mocking his opponent over how weak they are, and almost always believing he can win with almost no effort exerted. If Ryouji is challenged to -anything-, it's very probable he'll accept unless he has absolutely zero experience in the field. Even then, if it meant asserting his dominance, Ryouji would find some way to cheat. In spite of how much of a jackass he is, Ryouji treats certain people with a level of respect that most don't get anywhere near. He isn't one to insult people who have insane levels of riches and or power, instead aspiring to get to the level they're at. Around these types of people, he acts much more subdued, but nevertheless is still the same asshole he is at his core. He doesn't think highly of bookwarms that much, believing them to be pretty useless, and thus, he is much more likely to mess around with them than any other type of people. Ryouji is also sexist to a certain extent. He is very much the type that believes women should stay in the kitchen and make him a sandwich, but if he sees a woman doing her job on the field, he wouldn't be against it. Still, he believes that men are inherently superior to women(although he doesn't vocalize this, otherwise he'd have no chance with girls at all), and if you gave him three bounties and one of them was a girl, he's far more likely to try and attack the girl under the assumption that she's weaker. Still, despite the plethora of negative qualities he possesses, deep down inside is a man that craves a quality friendship despite how abrasive and toxic his personality can be at times, and pushes people away(although not consciously) mostly due to the fear of getting hurt emotionally and being detracted from his goals. While of course, money, power, and status are all amaying to Ryouji, the underlying cause of him wanting to achieve those goals so much is so people can notice him, and so he can finally be content with his own self-worth. Philosophy & Beliefs | Ryouji has no religious beliefs of any kind, although he believes that some sort of creator exists. He's not entirely sure of what an afterlife would look like, and hasn't really put much thought into the whole thing. While he does feel a little jealous to those who seem to have loyal friends, Ryouji feels like the driving forces of this world are power and money. History & Background | Ryouji was born into quite the unpleasant childhood, to say the least. While both of his parents were loving and caring people, they had the misfortune of being stuck inside one of Flame's poorest areas, leaving Ryouji with very little in terms of fun in his early years. Each and every day, the family struggled to make ends meet, and the crime in the area was steadily rising as the years passed. Out of fear of Ryouji being influenced negatively by the gangs in the area, both of his parents enrolled him in the academy where he'd at least get the chance to become a Shinobi and have a far better life than either of them ever had. This introduction to the academy led Ryouji to seeing just how much well off the other kids were compared to him, causing a sense of jealousy to be born. While other kids had the fortune of a variety of clean and fashion centric clothes, Ryouji was often forced to come to school in the same used rags he came with almost every day, which obviously led to him getting bullied with how cruel kids could be. However, instead of shutting down and giving up from the harassment, Ryouji managed to harness the negative energy and use it as motivation towards one of the greatest students in the academy, and at the end of his time as an Academy Student, he graduated top of his class at the age of twelve, which served to boost his ego to near toxic proportions. Once he became a Genin, Ryouji was making enough cash to move him and his family to a much safer neighborhood, constantly over performing on his missions to prove to his peers that he's definitely someone to look out for, developing a much more douchey attitude as he performed consistently over the expectations of your average Genin and became recognized for his achievements. Now, he currently looks for a squad so he can shine even brighter!
