  2. Azaya had just arrived in Mizumura, arriving only hours earlier via a wagon. She had arrived with a comrade of hers and was now at a lost of what to do to occupy her attention. The other who came with her was off handling some super duper business of his own, and did not need her for their duration in the village. He had instructed her with the task of moving through the village, seeing what its people where like, and even noting its culture. It was a very nice village, and huge, extremely different from the lightning village. It was located on a small island out in the middle of the sea, with its buildings stacked up on top of each other and rising up into the sky. It was a busy place, filled with people moving around and engaging in various kinds of activities. The young genin had managed to make her way through the large part of the village, finding herself in a public park, where it appeared alot of people were relaxing, enjoying the day, and even training. While she took note of many aspects of the water village, an itch began to grow in the back of her mind. Everything was so exciting, so many sites to see and places to check out, after all it was not only her first time in Mizumura, but it was her first ever trip outside of the lightning. While she moved through crowds though she could not help but wonder what the other ninja here were like. Azaya had never met a water shinobi before, and wanted to see just how strong they were. The plan was to find someone in the park, and fight them, testing the merit of the Shinokari clan against what ever water ninja was man enough to fight her. The sun shone down on the young girl, her out fit causing her to stick out like a sore thumb. She wore her normal black ninja suit, which covered her entire body, with her uniform being fitted with a pair of leather gloves and her combat mask. The mask was painted bright red and white, with a pair of painted on eyes to cover her real ones. No one looking at her would be able to tell who she was, let alone weather she was a boy or girl. She was properly prepared for a fight, and just hopped there was someone here in the training fields who was going to give her a interesting spar.
  3. It did not take her long to find someone, and he was found in the most unexpected place. It was easy to make out the frame of a man sitting in a tree, his back pressed up against the bulk of the tree. The park was rather empty, atleast of strong looking shinobi, and this man was the only one around who appeared to be able to put up a fight. Walking up under the tree branch Azaya picked up a pine cone and chucked it up at the boy, hitting him in the chest and making the pine cone land in his lap. "Wake up sleepy head! You are going to fight me today!" Of course he would be no match for the young lightning genin, after all he was a water ninja who probably used ninjutsu, what a waste. Before the man even had time to accept the challenge she began to hop back and forth on each foot, readying her weapons hidden up her sleeves and getting her blood pumping for the battle to begin.

  10. (this spar is open to any water ninja, regardless of rank. 11. The man managed to vanish right before her very eyes as the kunai sailed passed the spot he should have been standing in. Although she could not see him it was obvious the man had moved behind her, as she could hear the movements of his body, his breathing and his clothing moving because of the speed. It was unclear what kind of attack he was getting ready to deliver from behind her, but she had to act quickly. Her left hand clicked the trigger of the smoke bomb while her right thumb jerked in a way that the glass kunai hidden in her sleeve would instantly find itself moving forward into her hand. The smoke bomb would be released from her left hand, falling to the ground beneath her feet, while her right hand used the momentum from the device in her arm to fling the kunai two meters in front of her, causing the kunai to stab into the dirt. As both items where in free fall Azaya would complete a single hand sign, holding the symbol for the Boar, a devious smile spreading over her face. The kunai would stab into the ground in a matter of half a second, with the bomb free falling below. In three seconds it would go off, exploding and releasing a plum of smoke into the air. The man would have no idea what the item she just triggered did or that she had even triggered it. The genin stood there and waited, hands placed together, the longest three seconds of her life taking place. Chakra: 100-5=95 Stamina: 200
  12. Good, this man was not going to back out like a scaredy cat, and was ready to accept her challenge. He also backed up, mimicking her motions, putting a total of nine meters between the both of them. A light breeze blew through the park as the man she was about to fight was eager to start. Azaya watched as he quickly formed some hand signs, then allowed his cheeks to swell up as if holding a large amount of air. She was not sure what type of attack he was getting ready to use, but she would be ready for it. As the man completed his seals and began to start whatever it was he was going to, Azaya would complete two swift actions at the same exact time. Her right hand would pull out a glass kunai and flick it towards the mans neck, aimed to land right as whatever ever he was about to do happened. At the same moment her left hand would pull out a smoke bomb and grip it tightly. She did not move from her spot, awaiting whatever attack this man had in store for her. She was prepared though, and if anything she did not like came her way, she would respond properly.
  13. A man much larger than herself approached, asking what little Azaya was doing here, mentioning the fact that she looked much different than everyone else and stuck out greatly. From beneath her mask a smirk spread over her face, was this the unlucky victim that she was going to get to fight today? He looked strong, and was very large compared to her. He did appear to be stronger than the others here in the park, maybe he was the best option for her training session? "Look mister, you look strong and stuff. Im just here to fight, thats all i want. Do you think you could handle little ole me?" A chuckle escaped the young girl as she took in the man, he was much taller as well, and cast a massive shadow across her frame. Cracking her knuckles she began to hop from foot to foot, getting her blood pumping and her adrenaline ready to go. Backing up a little she put about five meters between herself and this stranger. She was not about to engage in small talk and could care less about who this man was. He was probably going to spew some garbage about his title and rank and all the accomplishments he must have gained in the village. None of that mattered to the young girl, she just wanted to kick his ass. "So what do you say gramps, we going to throw down or what?" Her body took a half crouched stance, her hands resting to her side, motionless but ready to go if this man made any sudden movements. She watched the sun overhead, taking note of everything around her. There was plenty of room if they wanted to do this right here and now, no trees or obstacles in the direct area. Most of the other people in the park where far enough to not interrupt, allowing for this spar to be a glorious show of skill and strength.

  15. The first part of the journey was rather boring, silence fell between the two stationed int he wagon almost instantly. Azaya had heard rumors of how serious and kept to himself the kage was, and even though there was a million things she wanted to ask, tell him or just talk about, she did not want to annoy the kage on their first ever trip out side of the village. She needed to impress, afterall, if she ever wanted to work with him again then she didnt need kabel thinking she was a little useless gnat this soon. So for the first few hours she just sat their, motionless and stern, making sure to not make a peep. It was excellent training, trying to control ones body to the point where there was absolutely no silence what so ever. Her mask sat next to on the wooden bench, allowing her young feature to poke through the black cloak. It had been forty seven minutes since she had last blinked, every second ticking through her mind as she stared at a small hole in the floor of the wagon. She was strange, most people thinking something to be mentally wrong with the girl, but this was her training method, and its what made her better than most of those around her. Like glass shattering across the floor, Kabel's voice echoed out in the silence, snapping the young genin back into reality. Now staring directly at the man, it took her a second to register what he had said, only to allow a evil grin to spread across her childish face. Without moving her body, the girls eyes grew wide as a single word slipped out. "Murder" It was a clean simple answer, and one that was completely true. Obviously it was a much deeper answer, as anyone who just walked around murdering people was a psycho. Her entire life had been geared for this though, being raised by long lines of assassins, its all she knew. Most kids her age who were apart of the shinobi program did it for things such as strength, power, or friendship. No, the only thing Azaya wanted was to harness her skills, get even stronger than she already was, and prove to the world just how skilled she was. She wanted to bring honor and fear both to her clan and to the village. Moving her eyes back to the hole in the floor, the smile vanished, all of her muscles freezing once again. Deep down she did not bother with worrying about what he thought of her response, and instead secretly hoped he was impressed by her ability to remain motionless the entire time.
  16. Lucky for her, Kabel would not be able to see the massive cheesy grin plastered across the young girls face as he complemented her clans ability, and agreed to allow her to join him on his travels. The mask she wore would hold a cold stoic appearance, projecting a stern aura of seriousness and professionalism. The young genin who wore the mask however was the complete opposite of that at the moment. Her cheeks were turning red as her skin began to crawl with excitement. Not only was the young Azaya going to leave the village for the first time with her biggest idol, but she was going to get to fight other people from other villages as well. That was her dream, to see the world and show others just how strong she was. She could not help but stand there in shock as the Denkikage prepared himself, donning the mask and cloak he was known for, the image she had mimicked herself. With out hesitation the kage moved past her, patting the top of her cloaked head, then disappeared down the hall. Her body would not move, her mind awestruck, forcing her to stand there for a few moments, her face flustered. Then out of no where the young girl dropped to her knees and let out a massive exclamation of excitement. The entire floor was sure to hear her cry, including kabel, it was uncontrollable however, with a flood of emotions moving through her tiny frame. She could not believe the Denkikage had just touched her. It took her seconds to regroup, slapping the sides of her mask to snap herself back to reality. "be cool, be cool" Drawing her composure back, Azaya stood and hurried down the hall, trying to keep up with Kabel who was already half way out of the building. -Exit-
  17. Why did she always find herself running towards this one person? It seemed like that no matter what she was doing, or what plans she had for the day, things always directed her back towards the Denkikage. Maybe fate wanted her to be his student, the universe having greater plans for her. Much like her previous interaction with Kabel, this one to begun with her dashing through the village. Instead of running towards the academy she was now headed straight for the kage tower, where the kage handled most of his business. It was a rather warm and beautiful day, the sun peaking over the mountain tops, a cooling breeze fluttering through the village. Her original plan for the day was to spend some time spying on other genin who were training in the fields. She enjoyed watching people from hidden locations, only to jump out and beat the strongest looking one to a pulp. However, whilst sneaking through the village and spying on other ninja, she managed to pick up rumors of a trip taking place, one in which the kage was going to be apart of. Now sure these were only rumors, but if the Kage did plan on leaving the village, she did not want to miss her chance to go. The rest of the world was a mystery to her, never setting foot out of the gates made her curious to know what was out there, specifically how strong the other villages were. What was more, if she could manage to be apart of the journey with Kabel, she was sure to pick up on some next level strategies right. She had a thing for bursting through doors it seemed, for the front door to the kage tower exploded open, an unexpecting receptionist launching herself from her chair due to the noise. Azaya gave no notice to the woman however, ignoring her cries to stop as the young girl took three steps at a time, striding herself up the staircase and onto the Denkikages floor. If Kabel was in fact leaving for a trip, she would demand for him to take her with him. After all, who else in the village was worthy to go, some crazy medic lady, or a stuck up boy who wore a back back, come on now. Doors would start to hate this child, as the office door also jolted open, revealing a crazed Azaya standing in its opening, glaring at the Kage who was messing with some paper work on his desk. What she did not bother to consider was, what if these were just rumors, and not only was he not taking a trip, but now she had burst into his private space with no good reason. The fates were on her side so far, so she was willing to push her luck a little further. "Lord Denkikage, i humbly request to be your escort for your journey." He was sure to know someone was arriving, since her foot steps were no were near silent during her approach. Weather or not he expected this child was a different story. In her mind this was a good idea, even though it was probably the worst entrance she could have made.
  18. A pair of tiny feet peddled themselves through the village, occasionally splashing muddy puddles that were beginning to form by the afternoons drizzle. The sky was dark, black clouds looming over head promised an intense storm, which was not uncommon to the Lightning village. Most places allowed storms to slow down the activity of the day, causing people to stay indoors or alter their plans, Yamagakure, on the other hand, was very much use to storms like this, so the day would go on as normal, with the village moving much like it did on any other day of the week. Those who did happen to be out and about would be able to see a small framed hooded figure mad dashing through the village, sprinting at full speed, hopping over things and weaving through people. Azaya was on a crash course through the village, beads of sweat dripping down her masked face, intense breathing being able to be heard from beneath the plastic mask. The top of her black ninja uniform was beginning to accumulate a small amount of moisture from the light sprinkle, the bottoms of her boots now caked with mud and water. Her outfit could be cleaned later though, for that was the least of her worries. For now she desperately needed to get to the academy, with her intentions to not only be on time, but to be the first one there. There was a very special seminar taking place today, open to all of the genin in the village. It was meant to be an introduction lecture on combat and how to modernize your tactics in the battle field. It was a very clever idea, meant to bring all the young shinobi up to date on covert battle field tactics. The lecture was not the primary reason for her attendance today though, unlike her fellow genin, she did not need silly classes or speeches from inferior shinobi. The man who was giving the class today was not inferior however, and was in fact the greatest shinobi to ever live, Kabel Waltenden. The front door to the academy slammed shut with Azaya moving full force through the hallway. It was quiet in the academy, most students were either in class or off doing something else, so as each muddy foot pounded the hard floor, an echo could be heard bouncing down the empty hall. She really hoped she was first, after all Kabel was her idol, the Denkikage, a proud and powerful warrior. Her entire reason for showing up today was just to see him, and to learn first hand from the master. As she neared the room in which the lecture was to be held, her excitement got even worse, causing her to speed up even more, only to end up sliding down the hallway. The genin almost missed the open door way, having to grip the edges of the door frame to stop herself from crashing. Azaya stood there, arms spread out in the door way, water dripping and heavy panting reverberating from inside her mask. It would have been a interesting first impression. After a second of standing their like a maniac, she forced herself to calm down, slowly making her way to the seating area. All of the excitement and adrenaline seemed to vanish, now being completely silent as she took the middle seat in the front row, directly across from the man who seemed to be enjoying his afternoon lunch. Holding her composure was extremely hard, sitting there like a goof, staring at the man who was just casually relaxing. While her outward appearance was calm and collected, internally was a different story. So full of energy and excitement, it was nearly impossible for her to not burst out. She had to impress today, she could not mess this chance up.
