  1. Jutsu Name | Blooming Orchid of the Swamp Jutsu Type | Hybrid Ranking | A Element(s) | Mokuton Specialty(s) | Ninjutsu + Medical Energy Cost | 75 Handsigns | Ox->Ram->Horse->Boar Range | 25 meters Duration | 5 Post Description | Leon will make the hand seals and then either spit a seed out through his mouth or through an appendage aimed at a person. If the seed hits the person they will be dealt very very minor damage, it will feel like a simple bug bite. The seed will borrow itself under the skin of a person for a post, spreading its roots throughout the veins around the area of impact. This causes a darkish tint to the skin. At the start of the second post and until the end of the fifth post this seed will slowly grow. At the start of the second post the person will notice a small bud appear in the region that they were dealt the damage. Each post the seed grows it drains the life force of the host drawing 10 CP and SP a post, this increases by 10 points every post after the post it starts this process. At the end of the 4th post the flower will fully bloom taking on the color of the person’s primary element (blue=water, red=fire, yellow=lightning, white=wind, purple=earth) A person that tries to rip off the flower will need to have strength equal to or greater than level 6 and will cause their body to take A rank damage by forcibly ripping the roots from the veins. This could potentially cause a person to bleed out depending on the location that the flower was implanted. At the end of the 5th post the flower will start to wilt and at the end of the post it will fully shrivel up and Other Effects | N/A Requirements | Mokuton, Medical Advance, Ninjutsu Advance Status | Personal

  3. The two walked along the corridors of the compound, Leon was just a shadow to the man. He was taking notes on the twist and turns they took to get to the training hall. While he had been on the compound for a few months, he was not known as being the most directionally aware. As the two entered the area Leon took note of the large room, it was rather plain, no sort of dummies or weights like the previous one. This room was meant for spars it appeared, the walls looked like reinforced concrete and large steel beams crossed the roof. Dimi sure did not hold back when making this place, or did he just find this compound and chase whomever was in here out? Leon really didn’t know the whole history. The two started just roughly ten meters apart, he took a few steps back making it closer to twelve meters apart. As he was stepping back the man made some motions with his giant blade. He had already gotten a simple look of the blade’s skills of blasting out fire so he had to be cautious of that. While he held the advantage of utilizing a water based skill he was probably not as skilled with his trident as the man was with his blade. Still taking steps back Leon prepared himself for the man’s attack. As fire seemed to emerge from the blade. It had been pointed at his upper chest area, so the fire shot straight towards that direction. With a simple pivot of his left foot he was able to gracefully dodge the attack all together since the blast of fire was not a large one, though a quick little bugger. So this sword seemed to have a gun like function, still holding his cards close to his chest Leon charged towards the man the moment his body returned to its original position. While his speed was his strong suit he was unaware of what this man’s particular skills were in. The pro on Zeda using a massive style sword was that chances were that it was rather heavy and be harder to swing about freely plus it would create blind spots in Zeda’s vision. The cons were that it was much larger than your average sword, so it would have more chances to cleave into him, not to mention it utilized the fire element which is notorious for ints offensive power. Leon needed to be careful, this sword could ignite on fire at any moment and burn the crap out of him. As he approached the massive sword and the silent wielder he would approach from the man’s left side, the side which was normally the weakest for most warriors. He was gambling on the fact that the man was right hand dominate so an attack from his left would have a slower and weaker response. He was keeping his two aces hidden for as long as he could, while his physical strength was not up to par as most warriors was his speed helped make up for it. A distance such as 12 meters would only take Leon roughly a fifth of a second to cover, if he was at his top speed it would be even less than that but that took a bit of time to build up to. He was sure that this man would have some sort of speed to him but utilizing such a big weapon surely would slow him down a bit As he ran towards the man he would weave a set of 3 hand signs: hare, bird, and finally boar. While the handsigns meant nothing but a bluff it might cause a slight panic in the man that Leon was so close to him while doing this. He ended it on boar due to the position of the sign and how easily it would be to go from the handsign to an open palm strike. He would aim for Zeda’s left rib cage. Leon’s strength was nothing to brag about but being hit by a strike at this speed would still sting a bit. Plus having the first strike in the match would be an ego booster for Leon and perhaps a more physiological attack against Zeda. If the strike landed he would attempt a roadhouse still sweeping kick to the man’s legs, hoping to cause him to lose balance and the high ground. Though if Zeda was to somehow keep up with Leon’s actions then he would need to gain some distance against the man and pull out his trident. 768 + 3,400 =4,168 Total Word Count 768 + 900 =1,668 Useable training word count
  4. The heavy downpour of rain on the stone roof was loud enough to drive a person mad or to sleep, depending on what type of person you were. Leon was the type that could sleep all day long during a rainstorm, that was if he had not already mentally promised himself that the day that the weather was like this he would actually take the time to sit down and read these medical books that he had purchased. He was already rather familiar with the human body but there was always things to learn after all. He’s medical specialty was found in using plants to naturally cure the body or plague the body with toxins. When it came to animal’s venom and anatomy he was a bit slacking to be honest. The candle he had lit in the room flickered like mad, perhaps angrier than normal, perhaps it was due to a few leaks in the roof. After a few drops hit the candle it's warm light was snuffed. Odotai was just in its budding stages of an organization, yes most of the members here were known in certain parts of the world for one reason or another but for the most part nobody really knew that the had all came together and were working in unison. Leon really had not bothered to talk to most of the members yet nor had they gone out of their way to talk to him. He had met up with Dimi, the leader, as well as a young boy named Kazai. Perhaps he should not be such a stick in the mud and go visit the other members...but not today. He found a box of matches in the desk’s drawer and struck it against the box. As the flame brought a bit of light to the room it also stole Leon’s sole attention, he watched as the flame flickered in the gentle breeze filtering through the room. The flame slowly ran down the wooden base until it was right at his fingers. It was then that he felt the sting of the heat and dropped the match onto the table as he placed his fingers in his mouth to try to sooth the heat. “Tsk.. damnit that was hot.” He let out a sigh and fiddled with his fingers until the pain subsided. He reached into the box to find another match, struck it and lit a candle on the desk. The light seemed to warm up the damp and dreary room. He cracked open the book on his desk and started to peruse it’s pages. He started to read about the anatomy of the large breed of wolves that were found in the northern region of the Lightning Village. They were really interesting beast. While they were social in nature they tend to stick to smaller packs that all belong to a single large one. As he read he began to see the similarity to the wolves and the Odotai. Right as he was about to turn the page a water droplet fell from the ceiling and doused his candle. “Ugh” He slammed the book and slammed his head on the desk. “Damn this day, I’m so bored.” He pushed his chair back and let out a loud moan. He stood up from the desk and walked over to his bed pulling out a large covered weapon. The weapon was his Odotai weapon, a trident that he had nicknamed Tide Hunter. He had learned to use the trident slightly but not well enough to be an expert with it, perhaps he could find somebody around the compound that would help him loosen up with it. He left his quarters pausing only for a brief moment to admire the rain. “God, this island must be covered in rain eighty percent of the time it seems.” While Leon enjoyed the rain and this kind of weather he was getting tired of it. He had been stuck on the island for sometime, perhaps it was time for him to get out of here and have some fun, though Dimi was not a fan of them leaving for long period of time. He ran through the rain towards a large training dojo that the Odotai were supposed to use in order to get stronger. As he entered the dojo he shook off the water from his body, his black hair whipped around madly. He looked around the room seeing the various tools used for training taijutsu and even ninjutsu. Where to begin? He walked over to a dummy that was made for basic taijutsu training and whacked it with his right fist sending it spinning around in circles. “What to do..what to do?” His trident rested on his back still covered in a cloth hiding its true form. It was obvious by his posture he was bored and not taking this seriously, perhaps somebody else would join him and give him the spark to actually do something. 848 Words

  6. Bloodline Name |Miama Clan’s Deadly Mokuton Release Possessors | Leon Miama, others that’s bloodline derives from the Miama Clan Appearance | Members of the clan are rather plain looking. The only strong genetic trait that seems to run through their clan is piercing green eyes. Most of the eye colors range from a dark forest green to a near lime like green. Members of the clan that are blessed with the ability to mold nature/wood based chakra are given tattoos somewhere on their body of a flower, normally a rose. Abilities | Mokuton Affinity The clan’s ties with the mokuton element runs so deep in their blood that they naturally are able to mold it with such efficiency that many other users of the element cannot. Because of this jutsus that utilize the mokuton element will cost the CP/SP of an ability one rank less than what it really is. This will not cause the jutsus to lose any overall effectiveness. Deadly Touch The mokuton offensive type jutsus produced by this clan naturally seem to have a nasty side effect if they are able to harm their enemies. They all contain a poison that seems to cause a numbness and even a paralyzing like effect at times. This toxin seems to increase in its overall effect based on the skill of the user. A D-C rank Miama clan shinobi will naturally produce a toxin that will cause a decrease of speed by 1 post, B-A is by 2 points, S-SS will cause a 3 post speed decrease, while X rank will cause a single post of paralysis. If a person’s endurance is equal to their shinobi’s rank then the toxin will decrease a tier in overall potency. If their endurance is a rank above the shinobis it will drop by 2 tier, and if they are 2 levels in endurance over the shinobi’s it will drop 3 tiers if they are 3 endurance levels above the shinobi’s it will be completely null and void. The attacks must deal some sort of damage for this poison to take place. The poisons will only last a single post and cannot stack in terms of effect but could stack in terms of duration, if a person is struck by multiple damaging mokuton attacks in a post. Parasitic Plants The Miama’s mokuton jutsus at times seem to possess a more sinister side effect than the poisons. The plants produced by the Miama clan can drain the chakra and stamina of those that are unlucky enough to be struck or trapped by them. They are able to drain chakra/stamina points based on the skill of their user. This can only work on skills that involve binding/damage over time. This cannot be applied to skills that damage at full rank capacity, the damage they deal must be lower. The chakra/stamina they absorb is not returned to the user but can be taken in by the plants to restore damage they have taken or strengthen their overall effect, but not increasing the damage they may do. D Rank: 2 CP or SP per post or 1 of each C Rank: 4 CP or SP per post or 2 of each B Rank: 8 CP or SP per post or 4 of each A Rank: 16 CP or SP per post or 8 of each S Rank: 32 CP or SP per post or 16 of each SS Rank: 50 CP or SP per post or 25 of each X Rank: 70 CP or SP per post or 35 of each Weaknesses | Mokuton in general is a element that is weaker to fire based skills/abilities. This causes fire based jutsus/skills to have their overall damage impact raised by a single rank against mokuton jutsus. Often times if a mokuton jutsu is still standing after a fire based skill, said jutsu will catch on fire and will take additional damage every post after the first post equal to ½ the skills normal power as it burns through the plants. While the mokuton jutsus given by the Miama clan have many different deadly poisons in their arsenal, medically based skills that utilize the water element seem to be able to dilute the toxins easier than simple medical jutsus that do not utilize any sort of element. The same can be said to medical jutsus that utilize mokuton element due to the poisons are based on plants found in the real world, this makes finding cures a bit easier for one who is also in tune with the mokuton element. Skills that utilize the parasitic function of the Miama clan cannot be offensive based skills that only happen once. They are skills that must have some sort of duration. This is due to it will take at least 1 whole post before the parasitic functions to start up giving the person at least 1 post before their chakra/stamina to be drained. Chakra Cost | N/A

I think the system is ~okay~ as it is right now. I feel as if reaction is a bit odd in comparison to range of skills and the speed they move. Also I feel like perhaps a chakra control attribute could be put into place. This is something expressed in the manga/anime as a part of training that trained shinobi need to undergo to be decent ones in the field. I'd be curious to see how you'd handle the type system though. Would you base it on the attributes that we have now? Ranking=attributes always seems like a dumb way to go. It makes it easier in some sense because there is less calculations involved but makes everybody pretty similar with each other which is just meh and bland.
  9. As the kunai fell to the ground Leon heard the young male behind him finally speak up after remaining relatively silent for the past few moments. It almost would have been better for the boy to keep his tongue at bay than his attempt to educate Leon. The boy could have been an enemy and Leon should keep his guard up seemed to be the focal point of the conversation. Leon half heartedly turned around to face the boy, in his hand was still the second kunai that he had been using for training. “Well it’s simple Kazai, it’s against my policy to harm a child, without probable cause that is and you did introduce yourself as an ally. Perhaps if you had given me reason to think otherwise this dagger in my hand might have found a home in your heart as that one from Dimi almost found in my own.” He would turn to Dimi, who too also gave him the advice of aiming to kill if he suspected an enemy. Knowing not to be a fool against the man that was known as the Reaper, Leon would bow his head slightly acknolodging the difference in not only the two’s strength but in authority as well. Dimi was after all the leader of this rag-tag group. “You’re right Master Dimi, I show too much mercy even to those that could be an enemy.” Almost as if the young child had some sort of word vomit, he started rambling. Leon was known to be a talker but since a young age he learned to hold his cards close to his chest. Perhaps this was mainly due to the fact that most of his childhood and young adult life was spent keeping his abilities a secret and often moving about. The boy though was after all just a boy. He seemed to innocent and naïve to be out here in this rough world. His spark of energy and life though was something lost in most of the children these days. Perhaps this is why Dimi brought him to this island? Did he see some power lurking in the boy that Leon could not understand just yet? While his abilities did seem rather unique and potentially powerful, Leon was left to wonder how strong the kid really was. Perhaps a test of some sorts was needed to be put in place so that Leon could obtain a better understanding. Kazai did offer to train with Leon and Dimi, perhaps through that he would learn not only the full extend of Kazai’s explosion release but also about the mysterious leader, Dimi’s. Dimi started to scold Kazai for reveling so much about his style of fighting as well as his bloodline’s ability. Such things should be kept as aces waiting to be played. Leon just smiled and waited for his chance to speak up. Perhaps this was his chance to teach the boy a lesson or two. “Ahh well it’s an honest mistake Dimi, the kid is just over zealous. I’m sure you were already aware of his abilities to an extent, you were that invited him to the Odotai after all. Anyways we are all teammates are we not?” He gave the boy a smile and wink. “To make it fair I’ll tell you that I focus in Genjutsu and Puppetry. Confuse ‘em and then let my babies finish them off. I was out here trying to work on my taijutsu, it’s probably my weakest attribute right now to be honest. But I think that’s all I’ll tell you for now, can’t give all my secrets away. He was lying to the kid but from what Kazai had saw this type of fighting was plausible. He did add a bit of truth there, taijutsu was not his strong suite. Dimi was likely to know that Leon did not indeed work with either of these skills. It would be interesting to see how he would react or respond to Leon’s lies. Perhaps this would gain Leon a couple of points in Dimi’s book, a ninja’s role and especially a shinobi like the Odotai was to be mysterious and liars. “I’m okay with a bit of training if you are Dimi. Though I’m not sure what sort of training you had in mind Kazai, as I am unaware of what this training with Shinrai involved.” He waited to see what was in store for him this afternoon. He had not been planning on a full out brawl today but what the heck if that is what Dimi wanted to do then that was what they would do. 3,033 + 779 = 3,812 Total Word count 2,033 + 779= 2,812 words to train with
  10. A crow’s call seemed to wake the raven haired man from his deep slumber. As he bolted up from his bed, with a dagger in hand his eyes scanned the room for any possible intruders. His heartbeat raced a mile a minute as he took time to fully inspect the room with his five senses. A small bit of morning sun peered through the shut window panes spilling its golden rays on the floor. “Must have just been a dream…” He said. Indeed Leon had been plagued with a nightmare, the crow’s call only seemed to snap him from it. Looking down at his pillow and sheets he realized that he must have been sweating as well as tossing and turning. The sheets were damp and nearly halfway on the floor. He bite his lip and leaned over to pick them up. It was at this time that he realized that he had still been clenching his dagger with a white knuckle grip. “Ugh that dream gets me every time it seems.” He slid the dagger back under his pillow and slowly shifted his weight to the edge of the bed almost as if he was dreading starting his day. He had set aside time from his missions today to work on himself. While it was true he was fast his reflexes and strength were poorly lacking compared to the other members of the Odotai. Leon proude himself on his speed and ability to perform complex medical skills and ninjutsus. Most of the members of the organization all had their own special abilities and skills, somewhat loosely based on their title in the group. His was Cancer, the crab. The sign and title both noted to the person’s logical thinking and slight compassion. It was true that Leon was more logical and cold in some regards but his heart did tug for the youth of the world, he wanted to make sure that they had a life that he was never given the chance to live. His head hung over his bed as he mentally prepared himself for the day to come. On the chair opposite of his bed laid a pack of kunai as well as several leg and arm weights. His goal today was to at least get a decent score on target field with the kunai, this would help boost his reflexes to a certain extent at least. That was the morning plan, the afternoon would be dedicated to weight training. His speed would be worthless if he had to carry something or somebody. Lucky for him his trident was rather lightweight and not too big of an issue to carry, but add a fallen comrade or a hostage target and he was shit out of luck. As soon as he feet hit the ground he let out a moan of sorrow. He did not want to train, he hated to train, but he had to train. His medical knowledge would only get him so far. That reminded him of the three books that were resting on the desk next to the chair. Three books about medical jutsus and the anatomy of not only the human body but also the body of most major living organisms. That was a training saved for a rainy day, literally a day when it would be raining too hard for him to do any sort of training outside so he would stay inside and flex the muscles of his mind. He slipped on a pair of lightweight pants and some shoes, grabbed the bundle of kunai and made his way out of his room. His black hair would flow behind him in the breeze, so careless and free. It was still early enough that the chances of him crossing paths with any other member of the Odotai would be slim, most kept to themselves this early in the day. Heck if he had not been woken from his slumber so early he would still be wrapped up in a cocoon of blankets. The training grounds were not terrible far from where his room was located in the compound but it was still a journey through the lush environment that the island was lucky to have. That was one of the main reasons Leon loved this place, the fauna here was to die for, literally to die for, most of the plants here would kill a man if they ate it. Leon was fine from these plants and knew them well but to the untrained eye a simple berry would have you six feet under quicker than a kunai to the head. As he walked through the forest he made note of the different sounding birds that were already up getting their morning’s breakfast. He quickly reached the area where there were several rusty machines that would fire kunai at you and your job was to just block or dodge. Leon had been here once or twice before but never really actually took the training to heart. While yes he may be part of the Odotai for some reason he always felt like he was the weakest member of the bunch, which was going to change! He loaded up the machines and walked to the center of the area. Soon the clicking sounds of the machines started up. He readied two kunai into his hands in a defensive state. Soon the machines were spitting out kunai right at him, they started off slow, slow enough for him to just dodge with his speed alone. Right…left…right again…right towards the right breast, and then by the left leg. The pattern repeated itself a couple of times letting Leon get use to it. After a few more minutes the speed picked up. Upper left, lower right, lower left, upper left, gut, back center, right leg from the rear. He was able to dodge most but the last kunai got through his area of perception grazing the side of his body. While the wound was not deep the sharp pain sent his senses into overdrive. Soon a kunai was whizzing right at his face. For the first time of the training he had to bring his kunai up to deflect it. Right as that one was deflected another one was coming straight for his right arm, a quick spin and he was able to dodge it while with his right hand he was able to block another kunai coming from another machine. Before any more kunai had a chance to fling themselves at him he ducked down to the ground to catch his breath. Kunai flew over his head, some clashed with each other causing an echoing sound of metal to run through the forest. He watched the machines to analyze the pattern of the kunai once more. Once he was comfortable he threw the kunai in his left had towards an incoming one stalling the pattern for a brief second allowing him to stand up and draw a new kunai from his belt. Now that he had watched the pattern he was able to block the kunai with somewhat relative ease, though in the back of his mind he knew that the machines were only set to the level of a chuunin which was sad on his part but he would get his barings with time and once he did he would show not only the rest of Odotai his skills but also the rest of the ninja world. So far he had relied on his poison’s and dirty tactics one day soon though he would stand in the front of battle and cause smaller men to fear him. Just as he was really getting into the swing of things the machines seemed to stop. They must have ran out of ammo. He was covered not only in sweat but also a slight bit of blood from the wound he suffered early in his training session. He let out a large sigh and started to catch his breath from the spurt of exercise he had just preformed. It was well into the morning now, roughly eight or possibly nine, it was challenging to tell with the thick canopy of the forest. Most of the other Odotai members would have been up by now. Leon wondered who he might run into today, they were all rather interesting people though he knew little about them minus the basic things. 15. The sound of a bird of prey screeching out in the sky seemed to for a moment at least, drown out the sounds of chirping insects. His dream had taken him to his deep past, to a land that would shape him and his entire course on life. In this particular dream he found himself back in The Villages of the Swamps. In this dream he was no longer a child, as he had been when he was last in this area. No, now he was a grown man, as he was today. His hair dipped slightly in the murky brown water, causing his raven black hair to have a bit of mud cake on it. He gazed around the swamp taking in the beauty in the decrepit and mundane. Right as he took a step forward in the water he felt something drape around his shoulders. It was an odd sensation, but not one that he was used to feeling in a dream. That’s when whatever was applying pressure on his shoulders started to cause him to move, thus alerting him that this was no dream. His eyes flashed open to see the little young Odotai member by the name of Kazai standing over him. What time was it? Was the sun even up? Did this kid know how rude it was to wake Leon up if there was not an emergency?! He slightly pushed the kid off of him and sat up in the bed. “Ugh Kazai….what have I done to be woken like this?” Then it all clicked. Leon had agreed to go with the little Odotai into the forest this morning to go hunting down some beast that had been going mad with chakra running through their veins. “Ugh dammit, I forgot that we are going hunting today aren't we?” Leon hated hunting, hunting meant waking up before the rooster even got up. What a dreadful activity hunting was, thank god that the human race had evolved over their need to hunt every single meal. He collected his thoughts and slowly got out of bed as the young member gave him some space. “Alright alright, let me get my clothes on and I’ll be good to go.” He quickly put his pants and a crop top like shirt on, slipped some simple sandles on and tied his hair in a ponytail. As soon as he was ready Kazai was already bouncing out the door and headed towards the compound’s exit. “Shit...what have I gotten myself into?” Leon started to sprint out after the boy. He was able to easily keep up with the kid’s speed, it would be his stamina that would be the real trick. Kids could go on for days on end it seemed with their energy levels. As Leon ran behind the boy, the sun's rays would start to peak in the morning sky. The first rays seemed to be blinding, perhaps it was due to the location this island set on. They were in a rather tropical area near the equator. Leon kept a few meters behind Kazai as the two ran towards the Northern forest. While Leon had explored this island rather extensively he had never really came across these monstrous beast like Kazai had filled him in the previous night. Out of nowhere three huge beast came out of nowhere, a bear, a wolf, and perhaps the most frightening a squirrel! Kazai went into action right away with Leon only standing there watching. He was not able to admire Kazai’s fighting style for long, two more beast came out of the woodworks, a rather massive deer and snake. Leon smirked as the snake tried to lunge at him. In a blur of motion he was high in the air. As he was coming back down towards the ground to where the snake’s head rested, closed thinking that it would have swallowed Leon in one swift motion. Leon’s trident appeared right into his hands with the spear like ends pointed right towards the beast’s mouth. The trident slide right into the skin of the snake and right past the bones. He felt the snake wiggle for a moment before it stopped. With one stab in the head with his trident the beast was dead. “Now what to do with you? Perhaps mount your antlers somewhere in compound?” The deer, almost as if it understood Leon’s words, started to charge at the man and the corpse of the snake. It would not be quick enough though. His hands moved quickly and before the deer could reach him roots would be breaking from the ground at tremendous speed on path to ensnare the deer. It’s cry for help could be heard throughout most the forest but none would come. “Well, I’m not one to watch a poor creature cry out in pain for too long. Let me end your suffering for you.” He quickly hopped off the snake’s head and walked over to the struggling deer. The more it fought the tighter the bind became. He made a shhhing sound towards the deer as he took aim with his trident. With all of his might he pushed the weapon into the skull of the buck. It was a bit tougher than the snakes but with the sharpness of the blade he was able to get it through. Watching the light fade from its eyes he knew he job was done. As he glanced over at Kazai he saw that the boy had taken care of the other three beast as well. Perhaps this kid was not so weak and innocent as he looked after all. Leon sighed as he pulled the trident out of the deer’s head. He made a quick spinning motion with it to chop off the antlers of the beast, he was not joking when he said he wanted to mount them in the Odotai’s compound. “Yo Kazai, can we go back now...I never did get any breakfast.” He said in an annoying tone of voice. -Exit- Word count 1030/500
  16. As Leon approached the silent figure he noticed that the man’s body seemed to be a bit tense. Was perhaps Leon’s presence not to his liking? He never really did understand the meaning of personal space, he often times found that people would get annoyed with him. The fact that he was the type that would talk one’s ear off as he was creeping closer and closer to them seemed to be a put off to some people. While he left plenty of room between the two, mainly for fear that the man would take a swing at Leon’s head with his flaming sword, he still steadily approached the swordsman. Finally as if Leon had been waiting for this sliver of information his whole life the man spoke his name, Zeda Hotaru. Hotaru...That last name did not ring any bells in Leon’s head. He knew a good chunk of the clans around the Earth Village and a decent amount in the Lightning Village but Hotaru never popped up from what he could remember. Perhaps this man was from a smaller village like Leon was, that or one of the other great villages. He opted not to dwell on the man’s last name, he had been given two other pieces of information that he chose to muddle over. The first of which was that this man seemed to like to refer to himself as The Lost Samurai. How was he Lost? Was he from some distant land and ended up here? Was he horrible with directions and often found himself in the wrong place? The title was a complete enigma. The second piece of information was that the man held the sign of Aries, which explained the flaming sword that he held in his hands. So now Leon knew that this man was a Hotaru, a clan he would have to look up for later, a Samurai, and the sign Aries. Heck based on the cold impression that the man gave just a few minutes earlier Leon felt that he was practically dating this man by obtaining these three pieces of information. He felt odd that the man kept staring at him so intensely, what was he try to learn? Perhaps the proposal of a friendly spar had the man curious to what Leon’s skills as a fighter were. If first impressions were anything, Leon already had the impression that this man was a skilled fighter, especially when it came to melee style combat. One does not just call themselves a Samurai for shits and giggles. His offer for the spar was accepted which brought a bit of joy to Leon’s mind, that was until the rude remark at the end of the man’s acceptance slightly pissed him off once again. Instead of acting on his rage he gave the man a rather large grin. “Excellent! He looked around the room to inspect if it was the proper size for the two to do anything in here. Judging that the flames on the wall were bad enough damage to this small room for now he would propose to possibly moved to a larger venue. “Hmmm… I think we may have better luck in one of the other training areas Zeda. I believe that there is a larger training room meant for combat training a little bit deeper into the compound. I’m not too sure where it is though, I’m not the best with directions.” He let out a small chuckle. He was openly admitting to a man that referred to himself as the Lost Samurai that he was bad with directions, perhaps this would give Leon a chance to see just how lost this guy could get them two in a labyrinth like the Odotai compound. “Would you by chance know how to get there? I’d rather not lead you aimlessly around this giant compound of ours if there is a better option.” Word Count: 2,738 + 662= 3,400 238 + 662= 900 words to use for training
  17. Weapon Name | Taidohantā タイドハンター (Tide Hunter) Weapon Type | Trident - Sub-Type | N/A Ranking | Legendary Material(s) | Carbyne (strongest material known to man) with a strong affinity towards water based chakra Dimensions | Shaft of the spear to the tip of the main spear is roughly 5 and a half feet while the two prongs that make up the trident are each roughly a foot long coming below the main tip by about 4 inches. Nature | Water Appearance | http://i.imgur.com/p0fwdVQ.png[/img] Abilities | Sea King: The user of the trident naturally seems to have some resistance to water based jutsus, though the trident must be in their possession for this to work. They will naturally take half rank in damage against water based attacks because of this ability. By paying 50 CP they can completely nullify offensive water based jutsus of their rank or lower though this skill can only be used once every 5 post. This works only on skills S rank or lower. S rank ability Hydro Affinity: The trident seems to naturally give off an aura of chakra that causes water based skills and abilities to have their cost in CP reduced by a single rank. This will not target skills that are tied with this trident nor will it target skills that are advanced elements that have water as a component. This skill will not work on abilities/jutsu that are over S rank. S rank passive ability Crustacean's Longevity: An odd skill but useful one, the trident, when in its master's possession seems to cause the cells in the master's body to mutate. This causes their skin to gain a tint of redness almost as if it has sunburn. This causes the cells though to naturally repair themselves like the lobster's. They will heal damage that is considered C rank every post naturally. If the user wishes they can speed this process up to cure B rank damage a post by paying 60 CP a post, though this can only be utilized for 5 post before it will "overheat" the cells and cause this skill to be halted for 5 post. SS rank passive ability Water Explosion: By paying 100 CP per post into the trident the user can cause it to turn into a black trident with the tips being red. Whenever the user wishes once a post the trident will forcibly inject contaminated water into an object or person. When placed into objects the water will quickly expand causing an explosion of sorts, this can target an area of 1 meter when into an object and will occur instantly upon contact. When placing inside a living being/creature this effect takes a bit longer. The water will start to expand causing the area that the trident dealt damage to, to double in size the first post and became quite sore. By the second post this water will have overtaken the entire limb, the third post it will start to expand beyond the primary limb and go towards the next closest limb. The original area struck and limb struck by the third post will no longer function at all. By the fourth post the second region will have swelled up to a size matching the first and also no longer function properly. By the fifth post this will have traveled to nearly every region of the body causing it all to swell and double in size. By the sixth post the entire body will be unable to move or do anything, all the while the pressure from the water will increase even more, this causes the eyes to start to pop out of the sockets from the pressure and blood to bleed in excess from any and all open wounds. By the sixth post if a person has not be treated by a medical skill/ability SS rank or above they will have their entire body explode from the massive buildup of water. A target cannot be struck by this multiple times to speed up the process though once treated they can be struck again to start it all over again. X Rank ability Crab Boil: The owner of the trident will slam it into the ground and pay 100 CP + 25 per geyser, at most 5 additional geysers. The user can cause a 4 meter wide 20 meter tall geyser to burst from the ground, at X rank speed, anywhere within a 30 meter radius. The geyser will be concentrated hot water causing 4th degree burns upon touch. A person that is unlucky enough to be underneath the geyser as it erupts will be be boiled upon impact due to not only the heat but also the crushing force of the geyser. Those that are struck by the the geyser will have the areas of their body that are touched by the crushing water to have those regions of the body to have their bones completely crushed, areas that have organs will have them damaged greatly and to a point that they no longer function properly. The force of the water pressure will also cause a person to be blasted in said direction at X rank speed due to the pressure of the water. The geysers will cause the ground to rumble for a brief second before erupting. The geysers will stay there for a single post before calming down leaving a massive hole from where they once sprung. Said geysers do not all have to be pointed in a perfect linear vertical angle, they can come out of the ground at any sort of angle the user wishes them to. They can come from any sort of mineral structure that is around, be it a mountain, cave ceiling, or the ground itself, even if it was created through means of a jutsu. If the user wishes they could utilize this skill from the tip of the trident itself, though this will cost 200 CP and can only produce a single geyser, the geyser dimensions and speed will remain the same. The access of the geysers through the tip lacks the raw heat due to no longer pulling said heat from geothermal environments. X Rank ability Description | A simple looking trident like weapon that has been given to Leon by the leader of the Odotai, Dimi. The weapon bears the symbol of a crab on its hilt, hence why it belongs to the member of Odotai that bears the title Cancer. The trident is an interesting weapon of choice in combat but a deadly one none the less. Due to the unique style of the weapon Leon often times travels with it covered in cloth. Many times he leaves it at the Odotai base for fear that the sight of it would give away his cover as a member of the organization. Availability | Personal Requirements | Must hold the title of Cancer of Odotai. Ryo Cost | Free

This causes damage that is below A rank to naturally heal instantly, A rank damage will heal over the course of a single post, S rank damage will heal over the course of 2 post, SS will take 4 post, and X rank damage will take 5 post. As a wound heals it leaves behind a purple petal looking tattoo. While this skill can be sustained for use every 3 post the user stays in this mode will cause their strength to drop by a single level due to the strain on the muscles to constantly being forced to repair themselves. Once the jutsu ends the user's strength will stay at this lowered state. It will recover by 1 level every 3 post. 23. Leon watched as the raven haired man simply avoided the kunai being thrown at him. He did this by stomping on the kunai in mid air, rendering it useless. A feat like that showed not only that his reflexes were top notched but also that he was not one to be messed with in close quarters combat, it was no easy feat to beat a kunai into submission. The gaze of the man seemed not to change at all making him mysterious and frightful. Dimi was still a mystery to Leon, though he had recruited Leon into the Odotai, he knew very little of the man. Dimi reached down and grabbed the kunai that was moments ago was in Leon’s hands. In a fluid motion that reminded Leon of a viper’s strike, Dimi had launched the kunai right back at Leon. Thankfully Leon had been working on his reflexes and his speed was up there in the Odotai rankings. With a quick movement of his hands he formed the single tiger hand sign while inhaling. In an instant he shot water right from his mouth posed to crash right into the kunai’s path. The two collided in mid-air, the water spraying everywhere as the kunai was flung into the air and eventually straight to the ground. If Dimi had not held back his strength Leon could very well have been struck right in the heart and died then and there. During this time Dimi made the comment about killing the enemies of the Odotai. Leon agreed in some respect to that comment. They were an organization bent on overthrowing the current political system, they were bound to have an enemy or two out there. It was surprising that no country had learned of them just yet. While they had not maken any sort of movement as a group, the members that composed the Odotai all had their own unique and interesting backstories. While not all were criminals per se, each had earned some sort of reputation for themselves, Leon’s was the poisons that he used. While he had taken his fair share of lives and had his own morals he was still a rather kind and cheerful person, that was unless you were a member of the major villages of the world. He gave a small smile and a bit of a chuckle “As right as ever Dimi. I should have throw that kunai without the reservation that I did. Perhaps under your tutelage I can shed that aspect. Lord knows that the ninja from the major villages would not hold back against any of us.” Though Leon had been apart of Odotai, him and Dimi really never had much conversation. He definitely did not know the boy behind him, which was almost a bigger enigma than Dimi. Why would such a young child join this sort of group of people. What path had life guided him down to reach here? Perhaps he had family members die in the war, or his village felt the backlash of such a global event? Leon was curious about both of their origins truth be told, perhaps this morning would let him gain some insight on the two and their ambitions. “So what brings both of you all the way out here? Surely it is not to just watch me make a fool of myself on this training machine.” 2,462 + 571= 3,033 words total 1,462 + 571= 2,033 word left to train with 1000/1000 reflexes 1-4 -20 CP for Teppoudama - Water Gunshot
