  1. Mission Name | Retrieval Mission Type | Service; Flame Village exclusive Ranking | A Mission NPCs | 2 B-Rank 1 C-Rank Mission Description | A group of higher ranked shinobi has left the village and are now on the run. According to reports, the three have stolen important scrolls pertaining village defenses and the like. They were last seen near Kegawa Enclave. Bring the info back safely, if possible eliminate the Shinobi offenders. Word Count | 1800 words _________________________________________________________________ Akane Higurashi was well prepared for her mission with her mentor and former sensei, Daichi. The ruins that they were heading to were known to be dangerous, filled with exotic animals, and she had only found the need to visit the area once. The ruins, jutting crumbling works of stone, half collapsed stairs overtaken by the vegetation around, had seemed too good a place for bandits and missing nin to spend significant time in the area. She was not an idiot and didn't see the extra risk as necessary so far in her life. The red head walked, keeping a decent pace with Daichi. The afternoon was still early, but the encroaching tree canopy was thick enough to make it appear duskan up ahead. It was a good thing, she thought, because the day had so far been painfully hot and the shade of the trees were likely to bring a temperature drop of about ten degrees. She chose not to wear her white coat, for obvious reasons, sticking with the cropped red halter top. It flowed loosely over her skin as she moved, and she could feel the sheathed breast dagger hidden beneath it. On her right wrist was a perfectly prepared senbon launcher, ready to fire at need, the trigger already set. Akane carried her medical kit on her waist, on her left hip. And besides it she had also brought with her extra senbon. Akane had her hair completely up, though her bangs still brushed the sides of her face, and in the messy bun she had hidden several shuriken for emergency. Akane was not one to be surprised in a place like this. Akane had no concerns over Daichi, he was always on target, and she was processing in her mind exactly how they would find and apprehend the thieves. She didn't know what they were capable of, not really. She considered her extensive genjutsu techniques and licked her lips, knowing they would be useful to her, but only if she had the time to make handsigns. "You know I don't plan a thing, and I know you aren't big on plans either. But do you have any ideas how to go about and find them? I mean look at this place." And Akane was right, as they entered the enclave the thickness of forestation and the dangers of animals and hidden shinobi were not limited to the mission's original details. Like this
  2. Mission Name [Entity] | Onigumo: An Ancient Creature We Fear Mission Type | Village Mission Ranking | A Rank Repeatable? | No Mission Description | Once you burst into the clearing, the area seems to be coated in sticky white webbing. There are no surfaces on which to stand that are not covered in web it would seem. In order to move, without burning or removing the coat of web, one will be forced to move at 1/2 rank below normal speed. And through the white gauze like clearing, in the very center of the 20m x 20m area, stands an enormous Spider Summon, the ancient Tsuchigumo Leader, Onigumo. Around the area, there are three large spider nests. The large nests above are equal to 3 small nests and contain larger more dangerous species of aggressive spiders which are poisonous. Being bitten by 2 spiders can cause inflammation and infection, while 4 can cause nausea and dizziness. More than 6 can cause paralysis or death. There appears to be two Aburame stuck to the webbing and unable to escape while one other Aburame is trying to reason with and fight the enormous spider, Onigumo. The mission is to fight the enraged spider until you manage to calm him down, but Onigumo is well known for helping shinobi in war and deserves a chance to speak for his actions. Rescue the three Aburame and calm Onigumo by showing him immense power he must respect and enough praise to appeal to his vanity (give four compliments, one per post allowed to get Onigumo to stop fighting). Play the diplomat between the Aburame and Onigumo and settle the ancient dispute (see Onigumo's background) once and for all. Success may warrant building a relationship with Onigumo as a companion or friend and the possibility of serving as the scroll holder of the summoning contract for Onigumo. The mission fails if Onigumo kills the Aburame in his rage and if you are not able to settle the ancient dispute between Onigumo and the Aburame. Mission NPCs | 3 B Rank Aburame who need assistance, Onigumo, 3 Large Spider Nests Word Count | 1800 WC Requirements | Successful completion of You Tell Those Spiders mission Possible Outcome of Earning Contract is based on combat skill, diplomatic skill and summoning ability of the shinobi as decided by staff when mission is graded.
  3. Mission Name [Entity] | You Tell Those Spiders! [Flame] Mission Type | Village Ranking | A Rank Repeatable? | Yes Mission Description | As you journey on ahead, the plot thickens and so does the forest. The webs cling so densely to the forest structure that there are no birds, no signs of wildlife. The forest seems to darken as you look up and find only brief flashes of green leaves through the canopy of the forest. The ground is even coated here, and there, sparsely with web structures. Remove the webbing and the large spider nests that are in your way in order to reach what appears to be a clearing up ahead. You can hear the sound of fighting, the ground shaking, but you see nothing through the dense webs. And in your path stands more Aburame, clearly angry and devoted to not letting you pass, stating it is strict Aburame Clan business. Defeat the Aburame to finally get to the clearing. During the fight either you, or the Aburame, may purposefully or accidentally disturb large spider nests in the area. There are three large spider nests. The large nests above are equal to 3 small nests and contain larger more dangerous species of aggressive spiders which are poisonous. Being bitten by 2 spiders can cause inflammation and infection, while 4 can cause nausea and dizziness. More than 6 can cause paralysis or death. Do not kill, though you may apprehend or defeat, the Aburame as they are still Flame village members who appear to have done no crimes. The mission fails if you do not defeat the Aburame, or if you kill the Aburame. Mission success is given to those who are able to apprehend or defeat the Aburame in your way so that you can get to the clearing ahead. Mission success also requires that you destroy the three large spider nests. Mission NPCs | 2 B Rank Aburame with bukijutsu and ninjutsu, 3 Large Spider Nests Word Count | 1800 WC Per person Requirements | Successful completion of The Spiders Want Me To Tap Dance mission

A simple mission involving the escort of a well known merchant family, given to a group of genin, has failed. The goal was for the genin to take the two parents and their 12 year old child across the Fire Village lands to make it to a family reunion, and then escort them back. Some where along the lines, the group was attacked by a group of missing nin. Of the three genin, one has been killed, one has been captured, and the third has made it back to report the demands of the missing nin. The family has been taken hostage, somewhere in the far volcanic region, and they demand a sum of 10,000 ryo for their safe return. The genin informs the village that there were two high ranked shinobi and that the time limit is two days before they drop the hostages into a volcano.
