Daichi would watch the woman as she moved to take a look of her own, not worried that she would accidentally blow their cover because her sensei had taught he better than that. As she came back and made her agreement, he nodded his head faintly as he stayed silent, until the men started to walk away. As she would take the ninja route down the tree, he would instead fall from the tree with an odd grace, landing silently in a crouched stance on the ground. Daichi would slowly rise to his feet and take a look around, as to make sure there were no predators lurking and once he was completely sure, he would start after the group. It wouldn't be too hard for the duo to follow the group through the forest and stay hidden, so long as neither one of them made some type of colossal mistake.

As they moved, it was clear that the trees were slowly starting to thin, at least more than in other places and they would come to a clearing eventually. In that clearing rested a mostly collapsed building but the three men would have returned to the building, where the faint noises of chatter could be heard between the group. The redhead man let out a soft breath as he would crouch behind a series of rocks large enough to hide the two of them, taking his time so that he could look over at Akane,"Alright, so how do you want to play this?"

Akane saw the building and had slowed her steps. She moved silently, letting the pink light of encroaching dawn guide her eyes and her soft steps around vegetation, stone, and roots. The red head walked with a very slight limp, the ache in her thigh still bothering her but not enough for her to say anything about it. Akane knew limping was bad but she didn't much care, being medically informed or not. The collapsed building was a single story flat, half of the roof collapsed on the right side by a tree which had no doubt been there for months. The amount of greenery and vines wrapping around the building made it hard to detect for sure, it seemed there was only a single doorway in the front of the building and all of the windows were dark, covered with grime, moisture, and mold in too many layers to see through.

She listened to the voices and then crouched by the boulders with Daichi at her side. The red head licked her lips and whispered, "Can't be more than four or five in there. And if it's dawn, I bet you anything that they are either exhausted and plan to go to sleep soon, or they are settling in for a morning chat about the dead bodies. They should be fairly chatty for a while, but also possibly alert. We did a number to those other nin, don't you think? No way would they not have someone posted near the door."

Akane wasn't a planner, but she could assess the situation quickly and inform Daichi of what she saw. It helped that they were all in the building as well, though finding a way to simply collapse the building and kill them all would make getting the scroll impossible to retrieve. She made a face staring at the one story building and its grimy windows. She looked up to Daichi, "If I can get a sensation of smell in there I might be able to get a genjutsu on the lot of them. Sound, sight, touch, taste, all out of the question. But I can't think of a way to get a smell in there. I didn't bring a collection of perfume with me or something."

Daichi would have listened to the woman as she spoke and couldn't help the smile that formed on his lips, his student really had grown in the couple of years that they had known each other. He remembered the type of uphill battle it had been when they had originally met but now she was someone he could do more than rely on,"That's a good idea, I have something... Or rather, someone that might help. It is time that you meet someone." And for the first time in what felt like forever, Daichi would raise his right hand towards his mouth and bite the skin, breaking it and drawing blood before he would slam his hand against the ground. As he did this, intricate black markings would sprawl outwards on the forest floor, the Summoning Jutsu. A cloud of smoke appeared but it should go unnoticed with the group of people being inside of the building and currently out of sight.

As the smoke would start to clear from the area quickly, in it's place would be standing the figure of a large armadillo that stood on his back legs similar to a person. The armadillo stood at a surprising five feet and six inches tall, though smaller than Daichi it still carried just as much, if not more, intimidation factor,"Daichi Uzumaki, so you've finally decided to call me into battle." The voice of the Armadillo was strong and firm, showing the years of experience that rested behind the Leader. It would also be good to note that he wore an eye-patch across one eye and had a blade strapped at his side,"I see no hostiles, you didn't just call me out here to talk words, did you? I'm not just some persona-" Daichi would raise both his hands to stop the man and bow respectfully to him,"It is nothing like that, Daisuke-Dono." The man spoke respectfully towards his summons before raising his head. The Armadillo, now known as Daisuke, would look at the girl who was also there,"And who is this?"

Daichi would look over at Akane and step aside to introduce them,"Dai-dono, this is Akane, I've told you about her." Daichi had fought and trained under Daisuke before he had even been allowed to think of forming a contract with them, so to have just summoned what could be called one of his Senseis just to talk would be disrespectful,"I see..." He pulled from the pipe that rested between his lips, looking over the girl and then bowing his head faintly to her,"My name is Daisuke, Leader of the Armored Armadillo Clan." But that was as far as he'd go on into introductions before turning his head back to Daichi,"What is this about then, boy?"

"We are currently on a mission. And there is a group of men in that building over there." He would begin explaining the situation immediately and relay to him what Akane's plan had been, where Daisuke would nod his head,"I see where you are going with this, I can do it." Daisuke would state without Daichi even having to openly say his plans but as the Leader would move to step out from the brush, Daichi would quickly add,"But please don't explode." And Daisuke would look over his shoulder and his mouth seemed to smirk faintly,"Damn, you play a hard bargain kid. Get ready to make your move girl, you'll know it." And with that Daisuke's body would roll up and with great speed the beast would speed up while in that state and fly across the ground swiftly, slamming into the side of the building with ease and there would be the sound of screaming inside before the building would suddenly be filled with an explosion of thick black smoke and while it was meant to be stop people from seeing, it also had the thick, ashy smell that came with smoking. What had happened was once inside the building, Daisuke unraveled from his ball and activated his signature move of Immobile Defense, then released his Smoke Screen. Hopefully the scent would be enough for Akane as Daichi would get up and start moving toward the building, hopefully with her in tow,"Now Akane!"

The red head looked at first confused and then bemused at her crimson haired mentor. Daichi seemed humbled in front of his summon and it made her smile to see him humbled at all. The confidence was still there, but the deference and humility were often things she had seen Daichi go without, especially when he was trying to impress women. But here the large strange creature made her stare and ponder. She knew it was rude and didn't much care. The creature had thick skin and armored plates, and even a blade. There was no doubt in her mind that he must have been a talented summon and when announced and introduced as a leader she saw the creature with new eyes. In truth, she rarely showed forms of humility herself, but during the introduction she dipped her head when the creature addressed her specifically, and she answered, "Daisuke-sama, I'm Akane. Medical and genjutsu user, chuunin B rank." If the creature was going to be helpful, it would do to give her honest rank and abilities.

When Daisuke turned back to Daichi, Akane had the good sense to listen to their conversation but watch the secret hideout for signs of movement. As she had thought, there were none as they spoke. Daisuke's voice pulled her out of her head and out of focus and she turned her eyes back to him. Be ready, he said and she admittedly had no idea what he meant. But she knew the two were trusting her and guessed it had to do with her genjutsu ability. As Daisuke rolled up and slammed into the side of the shambled building, breaking both the window and creating a massive hole. From that point, Akane dashed forward getting as close to the building as she could, ignoring any risks to herself, knowing the limits on her range and her genjutsu were more effective if she eliminated the risk of allowing the shinobi inside to break free on an area of effect technicality. Her fingers hastily moved through the signs, Bird - Monkey - Bird.

Using the smell of the ashy smoke as a trigger, she enacted first to create an olfactory demise genjutsu upon the shinobi inside. The ashy smell would not just fill the air, making it hard to see and hard to breathe, it would force the users inside to gag on the noxious smell and feel nauseated. Such feelings would cripple their movements, making an additional challenge for them to fight effectively. Akane looked back towards Daichi, knowing he would approach soon, and said to him in a hushed voice, "They are disoriented, gagging, nauseous. Completely ineffective in such a small contained area with so much smoke. Instead of fighting, they will try to escape. But give them thirty seconds, maybe a minute, and they will feel so dizzy crawling could be their only option in there."

Inside of the building, it went to note that out of the men that had been inside that one of them had been unlucky and been caught in a bear hug by the Armadillo Leader, who easily held the grunt of a man in place as the others tried to find a way to counter the smell. Though they tried to strike the leader, his shell proved to be of X-Ranked Durability and nothing they could produce could even damage him as he stood inside of the dark cloud.

Daichi, on the other hand, as Akane had told him about the jutsu and how it worked it reminded him of the effects of the jutsu used on him yesterday. It was a horrible experience but he felt no pity for these men because at least their noses hadn't been violated with the smells of corpses. He didn't doubt her when she told him it wouldn't be long until they would start running out of the building,"Alright, I'll go around to the other side them to make sure no one tries to go out the back." And with that he would move to dash quickly towards the building and launch himself on top of it. Though he made sure not to fall down into the darkness below through any holes in the ceiling, he'd manage to make it over to the other side with no overall problems. Once there he would wait on the rooftop in a crouched stance, this way in case they all went towards Akane he could still jump over quickly and help her.

Daichi had been wise to seek out the roof in order to prevent further escapes. Akane continued the genjutsu on those inside, reloaded and set her senbon launcher earlier and so planned on using that. The Armadillo inside had successfully grappled and consequently broke the back of the C rank shinobi inside with his large tight hold. A B Rank shinobi exited through a back window, crawling on his hands and knees to pull himself out. He was on all fours for a moment, before gagging, and getting to his feet. Luckily, this blonde haired man with large muscles had not quite left the area of effect of the genjutsu, but a foot or two more away from the building, and he would no longer be effected by the symptoms. In this moment, he crawled out, grasping a short thick wakizashi in his right hand, looking for the person who did this.

From the other side, a B and C Rank shinobi let loose, the older B Rank man with greying hair and beard dragging a male teen with short black hair behind him. The older man was not gagging, but it was clear he was dizzy, exiting the small shambled hut through the main front entrance with waffling side steps, the collar of the other's shirt in his hands. The younger male, was groaning, moaning, apparently unable to function enough to stand within her genjutsu. A few feet outside of the door, both of them would be free of the genjutsu, but Akane did not want to wait that long. She aimed her senbon launcher at the older man, choosing not to aim to kill. She aimed for his torso, shooting five senbon swiftly into his gut  and lower waist if the man did nothing about it.

Of the teen, she did nothing, assuming if she could stop the old guy, the teen would be of no harm. Akane was still beside the window, only a meter or two away, but her feet started backing her up and away from the building again in wariness. The black haired teen called up, "Hey Gramps, what in the hell was that thing?!" To which the older man shook his head and said, "Be quiet Koto, or else the thing might come after us!"

Daichi had taken to the rooftop and it had seemed to be the best thing to do, as the man seemed to climb out of it and started to move towards the forest. It was a shame that he had fallen victim to Akane's genjutsu and wouldn't be able to properly handle himself, seeing as it made it a lot easier for Daichi to leap from where he was on top of the building and straight down onto the man with ease. His right hand came down onto the back of his head and seeing as the redhead had been at least a whole story into the air, there was no fair part as his firm fingers fit perfectly around the shape of the man's cranium and brought it crashing against the ground. There was an almost sickening noise as his noise broke, as well as other parts of his face, but that didn't compare to what followed as Daichi would raise the head of the man upwards several move times before his face would be a bloody mess.

Had he a weaker stomach, the man would have lost his stomach but there was nothing that he lost, letting out a soft breath as he would start to pat down the body of the man and found one of the scrolls that they had been looking for from before. He let out a pleased sigh as he would have moved to slide the scroll into his pocket with ease and would move through the smoke that Daisuke had created. Of course, it had mostly served it purpose as he would move into the building,"Daisuke-Dono, mind removing the smoke?" And without much to verbally say, the smoke that was surrounding them would have started to disappear and Daichi would have continued out towards the other side to see how Akane had been doing, casually strolling even after having taken a man's life.

It went without saying though, that the old man had fallen right into Akane's trap and her needles struck their mark, but they were much more deadly than she had thought. Even had the initial blow not ended his life, he teetered for only a moment before he would have fallen straight onto the ground and drove the needles even deeper into his innards, ending his life for sure. It wasn't pretty but it'd be quick and... Well, mostly painless. But as for the teen, as the man would have fallen, his eyes would have gone wide and he'd turn towards Akane slowly.

Akane lowered her arm, watching the old man collapse dead. She shrugged, having not planned on killing him. "At least it was a quick death, hm kid? Now if you get down to all fours, we can be sure you can live to tell the tale of how Akane and Daichi obliterated this gang hideout." The red head's order was simple and easy enough to understand, so the female placed her hands on her hips. She took a few steps forward, shortening the distance as she kept her wary brown eyes on the teen. Her eyes flicked to the door of the building as the smoke rolling out abruptly ended. Apparently, that jutsu was over.

She saw the shadow of Daichi emerging through the dark building, coming behind the teen and smiled softly at her mentor. The man, she had no doubt, was in perfect position to end the teen if it were necessary. She was glad to see Daichi and noted that he held the scroll in one of his hands. A second reason to be glad. He had managed to complete part of the mission and so far, their work had not been in vain. All that was left was for this teen to lie down and allow herself or Daichi to bind him up. Then they could search around, find the other scroll, and finish the mission off for a smooth reward. Akane thought about the onsen, a hot cup of sake, and the roiling steam glistening off her skin. That was what she was looking forward to doing  with the reward money.
